Hi,

I've dabbled a little in short deck poker on stars, and would like to learn more about the games. Problem is, I can't find any good material. Tpt doesn't even have a category for it yet. Does anyone know any good learning material? I imagine that a lot of pros have already put a lot of hours into learning it.

Bumping my own thread.

I've done very well in this game grinding up a big roll starting at 25nl and getting to 200NL games and beating them within a month. But I'd like to talk to other successful players because I feel like my strategy is too much feel and not enough strict guidelines to adhere to. This can be great when I'm rested and feeling good, but when I'm tired and stop caring, it can be a problem.

I think I was a bit ahead for a while, but now my strategy needs a refresh

Only printed resource I’m aware of are the nine articles I wrote for CardPlayer Magazine. It’s on ante only straights beat trips version. I’ve gotten only positive feedback from it. You would need to subscribe to online to get the archived issues

I'd be interested in learning as well. I'm only playing micros though and just a bit on the side. I've tried posting hands a couple of days ago at runitonce but no one replied, same in a 6+ discord group (where not a lot seems to be going on either).
I haven't posted here yet since quite honestly 2+2 hand discussion used to be low quality. Thus all I'm doing right now is reviewing my sessions and checking equities with the sort deck calculator.
If you're interested I could start posting here, though I'm not sure if me replying to your hands would be of any help.

Hi,

I would love to hear some hand opinions.

I started playing 2NL and currently playing 10NL which still seems very soft, although I have been unable to find any learning material just learning by playing and looking at equities really.
