While I have been one to peruse 2+2 throughout my poker career, this would be the first time I'm ever posting. Having moved down to Florida in 2015 (from New Jersey), the mixed-game crowd seems to be pretty limited. Outside of the O.E. game at the Isle Pompano Park (and occasional 20/40 Omaha 8B), there aren't any true "mixed" games, with H.O.R.S.E. plus other variants (Badugi, Badacey, Archie, etc.).

I am hoping to start a weekly game (most likely at Hard Rock), as low as 10/20, and as high as 30/60 (or 40/80). Something with like 5-7 games preferably, agreed upon by the players. Is this the best place for me to be putting the idea out there, or should I be posting somewhere else on 2+2?

Any interest from players, or help..would be greatly appreciated.

If mods allow this is a good place

I’d also post something in Brick and Mortal thread for Isle Pompano chat, assuming there is one

There’s some mix games at a casino in coconut creek, I think like 100-200 and maybe a little higher sometimes, that spread most games and is prob in-season w the snowbirds down there. Besides that, i can’t think of too many semi regular mix games in a public setting I’ve heard about. And the coconut creek game was from a guy I played w a couple yrs ago, who mentioned playing it when he went on vacation. So that info could be stale but couldn’t hurt to call them and ask, esp cuz any place that can already deal those games might be a good place to build your game. Gl
