I wouldn't draw. You might only have as few as 4-8 live outs, even less.

Making a 9 significantly improves your range, but I don't like pitching a T to draw to a 9. If you think he has you beat, you can draw 2, and have an easier decision after the draw. If you pat, you probably can't call a shove, so it is a sticky situation.

I don't understand how you have 4-8 live outs. 4,5,7. and 8 are outs improve and a T gives you what you started with. That is 19 outs. If he has all of those cards, then 14 outs. If you count both of your hands, then there are 42 cards left. If you mean other people may have folded those cards, yes, but there are only 27 cards left then. Also, the players who folded are more likely to have had bad cards.

I don't see how you call a 6.5x raise 3-bet with this hand after you showed strength by raising UTG.

I meant that if you draw a 7 and he had you beaten pre draw, he probably still has you beaten.

In other words, the chances that he has a hand better than a T but worse than a 976 are very slim imo.

There are a LOT of tens worse than T9 and a lot of 9s worse than the 97...I'm not saying that calling to draw is right, but it's certainly not that easy to dismiss. Having said that, as much as I hate to fold this hand pre, the 3b size is enormous and we punish that sizing not by calling with hands like this but rather by winning huge pots with the real premiums.

I guess you meant lot of tens BETTER than T9?

I know there is, "combinatorially" speaking, but with the big 3b and pat, I think it reduces the number of combos substantially, as I think he is more polarized than linear.

I would not draw here, but want to hear what better players than I have to say. Interesting spot imo.

Good point. Obv against a nitty villain that is the way to go but not vs any type of player. You can't nut peddle in tough games LDO. As usual, it depends, need more info, etc.

Would love to hear from good NLSD players about this spot.
