If you want to have the biggest edge on your opponents, learn some draw games. You'll have a hard time finding a game, but when you do you'l feel pretty good.

Learn whatever is fun for you. You will have a hard time long-term making money at any game if you don't enjoy playing it. You definitely won't put in the time and effort it takes to get good at a game if you don't enjoy it. If you're not sure what games you might like, watch some Twitch streamers/YouTubers, such as Jason Somerville (jcarverpoker). You can go to riustats.com and see when he streamed any given game. Over the years he's played just about every game spread by Pokerstars, including 8game (a mix showcasing 8 of the most popular games) and some crazy draw games (NL 5card draw hi, badugi, and lowball triple draw). Watching streamers not only allows you to check out the games, but gives you an insight at basic strategy. Talonchick is also a top non-NLHE streamer you may want to check out.
If you insist on a more practical answer, then learn whatever games are spread in your vicinity or are available on whatever online site you play on. But if you're starting from scratch, you're probably far away from being able to beat this game anyways, so you might as well go back to the fun mindset, and maybe that can turn into a profitable skill in the future.

Also, try to learn to like low games or at least split pot games. They are some very profitable and poorly played games. If you have any future intent to play mixed limit games, you will need to learn to play them well. There is good reason mixed game regs want split pot games in the mix.
I learned nlh mtts as soon as I had learned the technical part of nlh cash and got my feet succesfully wet (10 bb/100, on Boomswitch obviously, a reasonably good nlh20 6-max).
I played micro plo two years and after that sort of read one plo8 books and got in under 100 hours of play in 6-max good games (plo2, 4, 5, sh mostly) and was feeling comfortable.
Those should be relatively fast and somewhat smart additions, even if one rarely plays them.
Limit omaha8 sucks (just rake), and the same would go for other limit split pot games.
Nlo8 isn't as popular (but sometimes micros have run strong but not regularly at most sites) and seems like a different game to plo8, so I won't bother about it. But if one can digest it (I can't, hate preflop), it might be an easy addition to some without an attitude problem like mine.
Studs are all dead and inferior to board games (hands down), and I say this in spite of having learned 8-game also (before plo8), but it was a fast and furious in and out put, a mis-step (because I liked limit and mixed at that time), having hardly any future but if one opts to play tourneys as main (then the additionals could be many games).
Draw games are also primitive compared to board games and are not at all popular. Low variants are the most popular, but needs a lover to play them (e.g. I am a lover of plo, even when it is greatly inferior to nlh in popularity and I play both equally well and bad and have no rake problems with nlh and no lack of sites for nlh, but I have my preferences).
5-card omaha (and 6-card), played a bit of it, never felt as comfortable as with plo8 and plo, although it took its time with both of them too, and maybe it is a more wild and gambling game, lacking some amount of control that I like, but I don't know.
But in practise, there are not enough 5-card omaha games for me online and live, so won't waste my efforts for a game that I might not even like, also as I don't know how long it would take to learn (plo took 2-3 years), but other than that, it looks very reasonable to learn after plo.
Draw and 7 stud are both good options. Five card draw teaches you a lot of the psychology of poker. Draw can be played nl, pl and limit. I prefer limit, but your edge will probably be highest at pl when you get good at the game.
Stud is a bit boring honestly. And it puts a toll on your memory to try to remember all the cards. But it is usually spread in all the variants of mixed games. So not a bad game to learn.
The problem of 8-game is that they have made it a classic, but its time has passed. Imo, the main idea of mixed games is to contain all popular games (or some DC), and at this time it would mean a removal of two to three stud games and replacing them with plo8 and 5-omaha.
Depends. Do you want a game that everyone already know how to play, or game where which you don't find many information about?
If you want a game that you don't have many information about and you can find some action online, try Badugi, Razz or both.
If you want a game that most people already know how to play, try Triple Draw, after the escalation some years ago most people learned the game.
I myself would recommend you a chameleon, Stud Hi. A game most people know how to play, and most people continue making mistakes. A game that doesn't matter how good you know it there is always a huge amount of decisions you have to make.
