Early in a FL Badugi MTT, 8 handed, everyone has plenty of bets, no reads.

Predraw: utg+1 limps, sb limps, I check bb with Q8(6A)
1st draw: 2/2/2
Flop: sb checks, I check with 6(5A)A, bb checks
2nd draw: 2/2/2
Turn: sb checks, I check with 5(75A), bb bets, sb folds, I call
3rd draw: 1/1
River: I ___ with 765A

Questions:
1) Should I bet turn when I improve? My concern is that into 2 players my hand is too weak for value and the pot is too small relative to the bet (1.5:1) to justify a bluff.
2) Should I lead river?

If this is a micro/low stakes MTT (which I assume it is based on the limping pre-draw) then:

1) Don't bet your tri on the turn. It's way too weak against 2 other players.

2) Again, player dependent and at HS this is a xr bc your opponent will likely bet his tri for value on the river (or any badugi) if he felt it was strong enough to bet into 2 players on the turn.

But in this spot, against passive players, leading the river would be standard. nh

If you're checking turn it should be to check/fold. There's no money in the pot and you're not going to be winning very often with a three card seven. River I would lead more often than check raise versus this field.

Yeah, clear c/f the turn. Even if he just has a better tri you are still around a 4 to 1 and there is zilch in the pot.

Pot needs to be very large on turn in Badugi to get the odds required to draw out if you have the worst hand. Even if it's a tri chasing a tri.

Have to lead the river imo

So how good a tri do I need to bet turn? What do I need to check/call?

Probably only A25 and maybe A35 and only because you discarded an A and a 5.

Anything higher and you are probably a math dog to hold the best hand against two people drawing two assuming they are drawing to at minimum something like 34. Each of them is around 20% to hit a better tri and a 10% to hit a badugi. So it is something like .3 +. 3 - [(.3)*(.3)] = .51

There is no checking and calling in this spot. Either you hit something you think is a math favorite to be the best or you check/fold. Bluffing is not worth it as many badugi players make calling errors. You can work in a few C/Rs though with good badugis.

Turn is really bad. Tri 7 not good enough to bet and pot way too small to call

And that's why I posted. Thanks for the feedback y'all.
