Baseball + Football = Faceball

Anybody ever play Baseball poker (7-stud with 3 and 9 as wild and 4 gets you another card?). Well now that the football season has kicked off a few friends and I have been playing Football which is pretty much the same thing (only difference is that now it is 3 and 6 are wild and 2 gets you another card). We keep the do or die rule (when a 3 comes faceup you have only 2 choices....do = bet the pot or die = fold).
Now we are extremely degen so within one day of introducing football we decided to invent faceball which is combo of two games (3, 6, 9 are wild, 2 and 4 get you a new card and the 3 rule do or die is still in effect). Has anybody ever played this before? The game is way crazier and I'm sometimes afraid to make bets with a hand as strong as 5 kings on the last street based on what opponent(s) are showing.
We have also played holdem faceball and omaha faceball. My absolute favorite so far is 3 cards down with a community window card up (you can use all 3 cards) and continue the hand like normal courchevel with flop, turn, river 5 community cards total.
So question is, has anyone ever tried Faceball or any of these other games we have started playing? We play this pretty high stakes and thousands of dollars has changed hands in these games so far so I want to research some strategy on this before I continue playing high stakes (we usually do 5 dollar ante and 10 dollar bring in, pot limit...sometimes as high as 10 dollar ante and 20 bring in...pots get HUGE quick especially when people hit 3s).
So basically I'm way more likely to chose "die" when I get a 3 in faceball than I would in the usual baseball or football games.
