4 handed badeucy, part of a mix

Predraw: I raised co (248)3Q, btn 3bet, sb called, I called
1st draw: 2/1/2
Flop: I bet (248)3A, both called
2nd draw: 1/0/2
Turn: I bet (248)23, both called
3rd draw: 1/0/1
River: checks to btn who bets, sb folds, hero with (248)3T?

I think I need to have 4bet predraw if I want to d1 here, and otherwise should've d2'd as played, right? And then as played I really shouldn't be betting because I can't credibly rep a made badugi.

Result:
Spoiler:
I called and lost to (245T)7

Your order of drawing is mixed up.
You're drawing in the middle (between sb and btn).

Oops that's what happens when I start reviewing hands after midnight

Correct hand history:

Predraw: I raised co (248)3Q, btn 3bet, sb called, I called
1st draw: 2/1/2
Flop: I bet (248)3A, both called
2nd draw: 1/1/2
Turn: I bet (248)23, both called
3rd draw: 1/1/1
River: checks to btn who bets, sb folds, hero with (248)3T?

Only change is that I was still d1 on every street. The other draws are correct

Slightly interesting spot, first draw with a played behind i think there is merit drawing 2 to (248) or (24)3

Either increasing our chances of making a badugi or drawing smoother, which can both have better playability, especially given our position.

Maybe just check turn?

I definitely draw 1 the whole way, I guess you could 4-bet pre to stay balanced. I probably check turn, and call river?? River sucks but you're closing the action heads-up. I guess he could be value-betting a good badugi.

Playing (24)3 would just be terrible. You would have worse badugi hand and a worse 2-7 hand. Drawing to (248) is probably not optimal, but not such a big mistake.

When SB folds, I insta-call with a T and a 3-card, knowing it's a coin flip that we're chopping up SB's money. If button has a badugi and made a 9 or better on the last draw? God bless.
(Going to check the spoiler now)

I don't think its the best play, but offered it from a theoretical perspective.

Drawing 2 to the (248) is my default in this spot.

It may be interesting theory, but 248 is as good as 243 as a 2-7 hand and 2348 is much better. (248) is much better as a badugi hand than (24). I agree that drawing to (248) might be better than drawing to (248)3.

I cap pre d1, bet flop, check turn, call river. Our 3 card badugi is a little rough and against two players drawing to smoother badguis, I think it's best to go for the 2-7 half rather than an ambitious scoop.
