A tilty LAG opens in HJ.

I have 2579-8 OTB. I have a standard TAG image. One pretty tight/solid player is in SB to my left. BB is unknown to me.

If i'm playing this, i'm typically 3-betting and patting HU, regardless of what HJ is drawing. But I've been getting kinda owned lately with this line with these hands so I'm wondering if I'm doing it all wrong.

If it went 3-way and it went 2/2 to me, should we be drawing 2 as well?

Would appreciate any feedback, thanks.

Patting this hand. Make the 8 a king and I D2

Why would you D2 when you already have a more than decent dugi? Possibility to end up with 2nd/2nd after the 3 draws?

Because 9 isn't "more than decent" and dramatically handicaps my low.

But it's decent enough that you would pat the hand with a 987 low though.

Big difference between having something made and trying to make it. D2 can be right even with this hand though if it ends up multiway enough...
