This also just applies to spots where 3 betting range is tight/reasonable
a) I don't think we can ever check here
b) If we bet and get called / with two streets remaining and decent potential to win without showdown, its a pretty standard and good result.
c) betting and getting raised sucks but that's just going to happen, in all forms of poker (It's like getting check raised with A6xx on a A64ssx flop in omaha8. Yes it's very unfortunate we ran into a big hand but we're still likely showing down). It is also unlikely either opponent makes a badugi in the badeucey hand.
d) the times we make an 8 we're in pretty good spot.
^^^ Also just to reiterate I'm not saying D1 is correct. I'm just arguing what I think is best.
Rob....Chill - would you say the difference between D2 v D1 is large or marginal in this particular hand?
