I'm in BB with A249ssss-A.

LAG BTN opens and LAG SB 3-bets.

Best course facing this action? Feels like i'm in a pretty gross spot if I call and go with FD here when i can get jammed out postflop.

Suppose this was just BTN open and SB folding. What do we like taking against BTN open the most, here?

I would guess call and draw 2 to the a24 is most common. 4! Is an option but not my preference.

I think drawing to the aa is probably better than drawing to the flush (the issue is the 9 really limits our redraw potential), but think we should discount some of the outs on this action. If outs were cleaner/higher i think keeping aa is much more straightforward.

I'm folding pre in the first case and playing the aces (with a kicker. I never draw 3) HU vs btn

So play AA4, so your hand won't be face up as a high hand pp and then you can sometimes convert it to a mainly low hand if you make a wheel draw or something?

Why not draw one to the flush? Seems like a higher EV play than keeping aces

I'd want to 4bet if going to draw 1 to the flush so I can rep 2 pair. Don't see folding this hand regardless of how we want to play it given the reads as LAGs. In late position, I see even good players d2 or even d3 regularly with low draws alone.

Maybe 4-bet and wait to see how many the SB draws before deciding what to draw to? If you jam and draw 2, you represent trips.
