So, after 15 years of poker i have followed threads here for a couple of weeks and i find it really interesting to read your posts. I am wondering if you guys could share som thoughts how to approach PLO and NLHE rounds in 8-game since it has a 40bb CAP on stars. I know tight aggressive play is correct but this is something in between i think. Say its a raise and a call and we got pocket 33s. Maybe fine to shove 20 but not 40bb? What about 3 betting in PLO rounds where we up with 1.5SPR postflop? Any help would be nice.
I remember they introduced it few years ago to encourage new players to try 8-Game without fearing loosing big (100bbs NLH and 100bbs PLO) but traffic is just as bad if not worse ...
