72 draw question. not enough cards 52 deck?

Do cards that you draw, get reshuffled and redealt if you discard them?
For example;
52 card deck
6 players
5 cards each thats 30.
all 6 people discard 5 cards?
?
Do they shuffle the empty deck again and redeal?
or are cards magically appearing
or just other examples when you have used over 52 cards.
Just curious because i'm trying to do odds and math and it doesn't stack up and I want to know if i'm counting other cards that people have discarded etc.

Pretty unlikely scenario, but I imagine the first four players' discards would be shuffled and delivered to the last two players.
