Villain is tight, competent in 5 CD high, don't really know how he plays 2-7 postdraw

UTG: 9,963 (25 bb)
CO: 13,221 (33 bb)
BU: 2,007 (5 bb)
SB (Hero): 19,768 (49 bb)
BB: 9,509 (24 bb)

Deal: (1,100) Hero is SB with 4♥ 4♣ 3♣ 9♦ 7♦
UTG raises to 1,200, 2 players fold, Hero calls 1,000, 1 fold

Draw One: (3,300) 4♥ 6♠ 3♣ 9♦ 7♦ (2 players)
SB (Hero) draws 4c, UTG stands pat
Hero checks, UTG bets 2,400, Hero?

There is no value in raising. Also your check makes you look weak so he could try get value from plenty worse.

What was your reasoning for checking?
