Predraw: HJ and CO limp, I raise (A24)78 on btn, bb, hj, co call
1st draw: 2/2/2/2
Flop: checks to me, I bet with (A24)58, all call
2nd draw: 1/2/2/1
Turn: checks to me, I bet with (A24)57, bb calls, hj folds, co raises, I call, bb calls
3rd draw: 1/1/0 (I pat)
River: checks to me
Questions:
- bet river?
- ok to pat 3rd draw?
- anything else you'd have done differently on any street?
After the turn and last draw, it appears CO has a decent badugi and BB believes he is drawing for a scoop if he hits gin and has decided he has enough two way equity to call the turn raise.
Given that co is never folding and likely has a badugi, and bb is still in the picture, I check river. It’s 50/100 and two guys have limped in front of us? I don’t think it could ever be correct to open limp from Hj in badacey. So if they’re loose passive, co turn Cr indicates a badug afterr he takes onei which we are dead to, bc we have to pat this hand. So I don’t like the risk/reward scenario of betting river against two players that should be drawing live to beat our A-5 and we r very likely dead to half the pot w no FE. If both villains were strong pros, you may be getting X-r on river and getting scooped. Maybe the passive tendencies of CO hedges it closer to a bet, but I’d still check. Very close imo but the last thing we want see is to face two cold after betting to try and get a worse a-5 to call to split a bet.
I think you made good drawing decisions in spots that can be tricky MW. Esp the decision to break the 85 w the strong tri after first draw. Nh and it doesn’t sound as bad of a game as you described so I’d play the 2x/wk it goes. Gl
