After the draw I would bet 1,000 targeting worse tens and jacks into a call.

although since you drew 2 it can be argued that you could bet bigger and get called by worse

NL SD is so hard to opine on because it is so player dependent

Against a completely unknown I would be fine to check/check and win the pot as is and gain some information on villain. If you bet and get reraised you have to fold or pay a high price for information...
