Hello everyone,
I'm a first time poster, so please be gentle
I'm playing 2$/4$ 3handed online.
BU is a somewhat solid-ish player (in comparison), but tends to be weak-tight. missing valuebets left, right and center.
SB is an irratic player. He plays very LAG pre-draw and often bets and raises UI. He also overplays his weak mades on the river.
Predraw: BTN raises, SB call, I call KQ762
1st draw: 3-2-2
SB bets, I raise 87652, BU 3-bets, SB CAPS, call, call
2nd draw: 1-pat-pat
SB checks, I bet, call, call
3rd draw: 1-pat-pat
check check check river.
I feel like betting and patting 3rd draw is a mistake after the BU stood pat as well. Hes never patting worse hands than mine, and I don't think that they are willing to break a lot here neither. This didn't really occur to me then. My thoughts at the time were: This pot is huge and breaking the winner here is suicide. I caught very well and him improving to a good made was somewhat of a stretch. Especially so because most of the action came from the SB, about whom i'm not particularly worried. Hes capable of capping with d1 (as we saw) and also with made nines.
So my question is this: Is x/c d1 3rd draw the absolute must line here or am I overseeing something crucial?
Thanks in advance!
