Early in an online tournament. Blinds 30/60 with a 15 ante. 5 handed. Stacks at start of hand after antes:
HJ: 2425
CO: 1665 (Hero)
Btn: 640
Sb: 1395
Bb: 3875

Predraw: Hero opens to 240 with 98742 (4x is good raise size with these 1/4th antes?), bb calls.
Draw: bb d2, hero stands pat
Postdraw: bb jams for 1425 effective, hero? If you fold this hand, what's your calling range? What do we think is villain's range here/what do we think it should be?

Pre is fine. I would call. Your hand is just too high up in your range, especially against a D2. He's gonna have to show me a better hand.

4x seems like a fine default raise. You block cards that will complete most of a D2 range and don't block as many cards that would pair it. Don't know if this player is experienced in this game or just tries to make hands, so you'll need to form an opinion about whether or not he could be vbetting something like a smooth Ten, denying you a check-back with your Jacks and Tens. If you've seen some showdowns you should know if you'll see a shove with something like 55332 after D2 often enough that you can call.

If I know nothing about the player at all, I call and expect to lose a lot, but not so often that folding is better.
