After 1st draw, folding is still fine, you have a bad draw-2 hand and an even worse draw-1 hand. If you're going to continue I'd pitch the 6 or raise and pat down the J and pray.
Nah button open is good. On the flop you can consider a few ways to play it, including the way the hand was actually played. One thing to consider is how many players were dealt into this pot since it affects your chances of catching a 2. I like the turn freeze but prefer to check back river. I would likely bet if it went pat/pat and I were checked to, though.
