Dealt 87532.

Player UTG opens. Folds to BTN. He calls.

I raise ofc, they call.

I pat or d1?

Me: Prob viewed as TAG. Pretty much always show up with a hand. They should never expect me to show up with a 9 here of any sort, if that matters.

Opener: loose player. I've seen him do some wacky stuff in other games, I can't attest to his competence in this game. I have him marked as someone to play with. I'd consider him loose and aggressive, but not overly so.

BTN: originally knew him as a recreational player. I think he's tightened up since then but still see him as a rec player. I'd consider him loose and more on the passive side. Can be stationy.

Thoughts? Thanks!

pat and bet bet bet if you don't get raised imo, even if one pats and just calls.
if you do, very tough spot, but at least if you break you can make the nuts.

i was in a very similar situation in a tournament recently, almost exactly actually. against looser players who are likely to play more inferior hands, i would pat and bet each street. against more solid players, i would probably break because against solid players that is just too rough.

87532 is a quite good hand. Clear pat. It'll also likely never be correct to break because of how often you would have to be right.
