SB is not a reg, I didn't play a lot vs him but seems passive. (MP+1 is a tag reg).

PokerStars, $10 + $1 - Single Draw 2-7 No Limit - 100/200 (50 ante) - 7 players

UTG: 12,897 (64 bb)
MP: 221 (1 bb)
MP+1: 8,650 (43 bb)
CO: 1,469 (7 bb)
BU: 16,730 (84 bb)
SB: 20,556 (103 bb)
BB (Hero): 17,089 (85 bb)

Deal: (650) Hero is BB with 5 7 2 8 9
2 players fold, MP+1 raises to 473, 2 players fold, SB 3-bets to 1,400, Hero 4-bets to 4,000, 2 players fold

Definitely 4betting here in a rebuy and calling it off and patting since people love to gamble/spew during the rebuy period (assuming it still is the rebuy period).

Even if this were a regular re-entry or freezeout, I'd probably still 4bet here just because a 9 is a good hand, SB could have worse pat hands and draws, but I see merit to cold-calling. Maybe induce an MP jam with a draw, doesn't make you have to fold to a SB 5bet jam, maybe the SB pats incorrectly instead of breaking.
