There is literally not one example of catchphrase sing-along in wrestling history that has been anything short of full-blown AIDS that infected everyone in the building and threatened an epidemic across society.

"What?" still occasionally amuses me. And as well intentioned as "You still got it" and "This is awesome" were when originally created, these chants have been ruined by clueless crowds to the point where I wish they were never a thing in the first place.
I mean chants aren't really sing-alongs, those are different. But "YES!" probably qualifies as both because a decent chunk of it is done under Bryan's directions rather than being done organically by the audience.
I agree with that post though. I mean not the part where "what?" was still in any way amusing, it's horrible, but I agree with the rest.
Cena should be in the title picture way more than he has been lately.
Give Cesaro or Barrett the IC title and have them feud with Cena over it. Builds either of those guys and makes the title important again if Cena wants it.
Disagree with both of the last two posts. I'm perfectly sympathetic with arguments for Cena as perpetual world champion, but WWE has finally, FINALLY gotten around to building up another babyface who can credibly run with the title and maybe even be given the chance to be the #1 guy (though this first PPV matchup isn't helping that matter).
Cena already gave Bryan the rub and put him over clean; it's better to keep Cena out of the way entirely at this point to see if Bryan really can run with the ball and be the #1 guy. I imagine it's far tougher to analyze things from a business standpoint if you co-mingle the two.
The story of Bryan getting the title back took like eight months, and was well done even if they were directed into it by the brute force of the fanbase. The original loss was all Cena should have had to do with the whole thing. You can potentially reintroduce Cena vs. Bryan at SummerSlam, but letting the whole fanbase get behind Bryan and not be divided at all certainly seems like the proper move right now.

Agreed on everything. Sometimes they're used in expert ways though. I've gotten goosebumps on all four of my watches of Wyatts vs Shield from EC when the crowd chants "this is awesome" before the match even starts.
After little thought I think Brock was the right guy for Taker to drop the streak to. Reasoning:
Imagine the booking they'd have to give a full timer that ended it. Heel or not to beat him, imagine Cena beating him. He'd be booked stronger than he was in his decade of defecation. This way they don't book himself in a corner. Brock can come in for 3 matches a year and destroy somebody and give the rub when he (eventually) loses.
