I have no idea what they really have in mind with the Bryan/Miz stuff. The segments are entertaining on their own, but I'm just surprised that they would continue spending so much build toward absolutely nothing if that's what's happening.

It's happening on a show that's more improvisation than scripted so perhaps they don't have anything planned, but just allow it because it's really helped Miz and it may let Bryan feel more involved.

They haven't kept it contained to Talking Smack though, at all. It bleeds into Miz's promos all the time since the first spat.

I was thinking more of Samoa Joe for some reason. Nothing like a big and agile guy beating the living crap out of the Miz. I could still go for Nakamura giving knee strikes in many places though to the Miz.

This was an enjoyable show and Talking Smack was excellent

I actually had Joe's music then switched! But I think it works better with Nakamura.

Hearing the it isn't a full turn for Ellsworth is refreshing. I watched the title match, but not Talking Smack and thought an Ellsworth heel turn was stupid.

I co-sign Nakamura > Joe for this purpose. Nakamura is the more Bryan-like worker and a better representative to contrast with Miz's in-ring style. Also bringing in a monster like Joe to do your bidding is more what a heel would do.

Since nobody is watching Raw tonight, I've been thinking a bit about the implications of...I won't call it a heel turn, but Ellsworth costing Ambrose the title.

At first look, it's obviously gave them a way out of the corner they booked themselves into because they wanted to keep the title on AJ, but had to keep Dean strong because he's the only top face on the show right now.

Ellsworth not really turning, but saying that he feels like he can beat AJ makes sense at first. However, he also said he was going to give Dean the first shot when he wins. So why interfere in the first place then?

So Ellsworth gets his show on Tuesday. Since I'm not expecting a quick finish to this angle, I'm not expecting a clean pin by AJ, nor is there any delusion that they'll actually strap him. Ambroseference and then what from there?

I'm hoping they're not headed towards a three way at the Rumble because, as I said before, there are no other top faces to challenge AJ. NONE. Ambrose is it......until Cena comes back, potentially wins the Rumble, and faces AJ at WM. Because...what other faces do they have?

Unless.....they turn Baron Corbin and just build him as a monster going into Mania. Maybe even have him win the Rumble.

Otherwise, what do they do with AJ/the title next?
