Well, Lesnar is using moves other than German Suplexes.

I gather that this crowd hasn’t accepted Bryan’s heel turn.

Probably pre breaking the streak. Punk at SS 2013 would be my guess. Loved the match despite the slow start. Brock so good at selling.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing Ronda on RAW tomorrow but Charlotte on SD! is a weird dynamic.

I'd have preferred to see a few more close pin falls from Bryan rather than the submission spot. Brock is literally never tapping out in a match when he's back off to the UFC. Gets Bryan over a bit though so that's good.

Pleasantly surprised at the finishing time.

All in all I'd say that was an ok PPV. Flair Rousey was v good, 205 match was good, Brock Bryan was as good as you could hope for and the mens 5v5 had enough going on for it to be watchable.

5v5 tag was good enough for a pre-show.

Tag match and women's 5v5 were bad.

edit - forgot about Seth Nakamura which sums it up that was bad too considering the people involved, biggest let down by far.

I understand it more if you loved him from the past and just weren't willing to turn against him as he became worse.
You'll be happy to know she gets a full pass; apparently they met each other through Gene LeBell, who taught both of them judo (apparently Gene Lebell is the Izzy Mandelbaum of judo teaching), and who knew Rousey since birth through (ldo) her mom.

Never underestimate the power of how the show closes. Because I loved Ronda-Charlotte and ended up really enjoying DB-Brock, I digest this as a good show.

That's good information. The Ronda/Piper connection has long confused me even though I knew he gave her that jacket.

There is an ex creative team member who I heard an interview from who confirmed that the original plan was to have Bryan take that beating like Cena did at SS.
