They should make it a running gag that Braun claims he will cash in after each title match then just disappears into thin air

I just remembered Braun squashed Kevin Owens for THAT.

Honestly the copyright graphic popping up with Braun nowhere in sight was one of the funniest things I’ve seen for a while. I can’t get to sleep cos I’m still laughing. Yeah I’m weird. Got roman that pop though!

What an incredible ending.

Show wasn't bad overall, though nothing about it was great either. I got the most enjoyment out of AJ/Joe.

Laughing so hard at Bork tossing the chair and having it hit his own face after he ate the spear

Bryan/Miz told by far the best story. Looking forward to what comes next

I was looking for him when the camera showed the aisle at the end. He was struggling to get up beside the ramp on the left side

Just got home. What a fun night. I thought the crowd was pretty great throughout. The pops for A) the entire Rollins/Dolph match B) the Becky heel turn and C) anything Ronda Rousey were especially fun.

Pretty weird but I thought this was a great event even considering it had 3 squashes, 2 DQ finishes and a Roman Reigns coronation. Maybe I'm just easy to please?

Major League is an all time great movie........Major League 2 is even better.

I'd write Vince a strongly worded letter.
I think this was definitely the best SummerSlam WWE has put out of the last few years it's been in Brooklyn

Wow this annoyed me so hard being there. When the finish happened people started sprinting to the exits and I was thinking, ok, well, Braun can still just get up and do something about this, it's not over yet. Then suddenly someone pointed up to the jumbotron and they showed the copyright graphic and I realized it was over. That was a huge bummer.

There wasn't much at all tonight I don't think. I definitely disagree with the notion that the crowd was trying to get themselves over at the expense of the talent. There was one single instance of beach balls trying to become a thing early in the main event but it was quickly squashed, and I didn't notice anything else like that during the show.

I will say the crowd **** all over the Bella twin interview video promo (and deservedly so, that was really bad), I'm not sure if that was audible on tv.

I was pretty surprised at the Brock Lesnar hatred. The crowd was universally against both guys (lots of "You Both Suck" chants, which I assume were audibly on TV). I assumed the hatred of Roman would supersede and make Brock somewhat popular in venue. Everyone was just waiting for the Braun cash-in.

Pretty hilarious that they not only had to use go away heat for Lesnar to get Roman over but also try to get a pop for Roman "knowing" that Braun was going to cash-in after the match. I assume that's what was happening. The hoops Vince jumps through to make him seem popular is staggering.

Will def be checking out Major League 2 tomorrow after 3 recommendations

So Im the only one that was fine with Braun not cashing in? It wasnt like he took just one F5, he got his ass whooped by that chair. Would you cash in your contract after taking a beating like that?

Especially given how rough most comedy sequels are, Major League 2 is one of the best.

It terms of the story it makes sense but in terms of wanting to be entertaining/put on a good show, it did now. We were left with a feeling of anti-climax at yet another major PPV.

A lot of people are past caring about both Reigns and Lesner so the main event is hardly the most anticipated. Suddenly Brauns music hits and immedietly there's more excitement, everybody is thinking triple threat. Braun promises to cash in after the match. Suddenly there's an extra factor in the match and everybody is excited to see the cash in, possibly two title changes, maybe some crazy swerve.

What did we get? Finisher spam and what was essentially a distraction finish, no cash in, Roman celebrating.

It was just another in a long line of ****ty Vince bait and switches. It also makes Braun look like a total chump

In theory, Braun could have cashed in before the match even started. Then he would have gotten a one on one match against Lesnar, and Roman would have gotten screwed out of his title shot.

think how epic it would have been to do that, win, and then have Brock and Roman fight for no title, because after all they had a match scheduled

There were 13 matches. 3 had roll up endings. 3 were total squashes. 2 ended in DQ while another ended with a screwjob ending. 1 involved a third person distracting. This was the 2nd biggest show of the year. I haven't really watched since Mania and this did nothing to make me start again.

It would have been funny, people would have left early. That was probably the whole point of having Braun come out, to stop people leaving early.

It's become a regular thing for me to read these PPV threads and reaffirm my decision not to watch any WWE programming.

(OK, need to watch more NXT, though.)

The fact that they used Braun as a red herring for no reason other than to protect the match is what I'm sure most have a problem with. Of course it's logical for him to not cash in at that point, but the scenario didn't need to exist to begin with, and I'm unconvinced it will lead anywhere; it really seems to have occurred purely to keep the crowd at bay during the main event.

Decent show. It's really a shame that AJ Styles wasn't brought in to the WWE years ago in his prime. In his 40's and still best wrestler going.

Ronda should be using judo slams more than tugging those poor women by the arm socket.

The ending was terribly written and can't stand seeing the credits roll like that. Seems like they had to cut it short, maybe an injury?
