That was considerably worse than getting a legit Sasha-Bianca match. And I realize not having that match probably couldn't be helped, but **** them for advertising it the whole way.

Wondered that as well. Seems like a really ill-fated idea if that's what they're doing. Good luck getting crowds to take Bianca over Becky in any subsequent feud.

Needless to say, it's difficult to enjoy a lot of this when my mind is so insistent on comparing it to stuff from 33 years ago.

I think a lot of my dislike of the current shows goes back to the fact that I'm an announcer mark- for me, as a viewer it's basically like I'm spending 3 hours with the announcers.

When they're people that I think are likable and I would like to hang out, I enjoy the show no matter what it is.

When they're extremely dislikable and sound like a commercial yelling at me, it's tough to enjoy the **** even when it's good.

...which is a long way of saying gorilla monsoon and Jesse Venture and Heenan and Killer Ken Resnick and Mean Gene went a long way.

I realize that oversaturating is just what they do, but they definitely overdid it with triple threat matches. It's not that good of a gimmick match, and it's tired now on top of that.

Halpert ruined Charlotte for me by pointing out one time that all of her PPV matches were LOLCharlotteWins. I had just been blissfully oblivious to that fact until that point.

She's excellent, but the way she gets booked does take me out of her stuff a lot more now.
