Alright, here's hoping for big things. They of course start the match with the handicap that there must be at least three finisher kickouts because reasons, but hopefully the overall end product is quite good anyway.

The "Big Match John" thing that JBL coined was among the least creative nicknames in the history of the human race.

Why the **** would you bring it back up? One of the benefits of not having JBL in the booth right now was supposed to be that nobody would say that.

Well, yeah. Punk return is not only the hands-down winner of the weekend, but is a historic moment. This show was never going to have an individual moment as good as that. It's rare for wrestling to imprint new memories in my brain at all now, but that's one for sure.

Austin would do the stunner on everyone, even other babyfaces who just got done helping him out.

Whether a full-on babyface or just a tweener who the fans will support against Reigns, I don't think that Cena clip is inconsistent with what I would expect. But I also don't think it's canon anyway.

The problem with Bork is he’s just terrible on the mic and face Bork mic work is going to be atrocious. Plus WWE really doesnt allow for tweeners, it’s completely binary

If Bork is booked as an anti-hero, arrive, destroy, leave kinda guy this will work. Otherwise he’s basically Oldberg but able to wrestle

Wasn't that long ago that Reigns was doing the painful "I'm not a bad guy, I'm not a good guy, I'm the guy" stuff.

I mean, it was some years at this point, but it's been longer than that since WWE last meaningfully changed their tired model, so I think we're still operating within that timeline.
