Owens always getting screwed at the Rumble vs. Reigns.

Solo is no Umaga. But he tries hard to be him, I guess.

Dropping the chair after he hit Roman was a choice.

This was an example of how it's just fine to tell a predictable story sometimes.

The lesser Uso walking out wasn't predictable though.

Funny that a post-match segment that was just as long as the match itself was the highlight of the entire night and quite possibly even the only above average part of the show at all.

Yeah, true. I'm not entirely sure how this lines up for Mania. They're just going to go Roman vs. Cody? It's disappointing if this entire build isn't headed toward a Roman-Sami title match.

I approve of just about everything there, but how am I supposed to be excited about Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes after that?

I thought it was for KO/Sami vs the Usos and Roman/Cody.

Does Solo take Jay's place?

Don't forget, Cody could always choose the other champion.

That tag match occurred to me, but this is the company’s biggest angle by miles, and having it be some midcard tag match seems like a serious disservice.

I was just trying to look this up. Is there another?

No. I'm messin.

Are these post-game pressers a brand new thing? Are they supposed to be out of character.

I guess Bron Breakker in NXT? There is precedent for that with Charlotte/Rhea, but that doesn't seem to be what they're building towards at all.

I mean, Roman could just retain against Cody if they’re willing to draw up a long-term enough plan to make it Sami vs Roman at SummerSlam. Or I guess Rollins could derail Cody from his title shot somehow. I don’t know.

Dunno what they're going to do, but the next PPV is in Montreal.

Crowd should be insane for KO and Sami.

Honestly considering if I should go.

Maybe Roman loses one title to Rollins at Elimination Chamber, then Wrestlemania is Rollins v Cody and Roman v Sami

shrug idk

As much as I like the titles being unified, I’m down for this.

Sami costs Roman his titles at Mania. They go from there.

Hard pressed to believe that’s the way Cody Rhodes has his ‘wrestlemania moment’, winning via Sami Zayn screw job.

Could easily be done in a way where he just stops the Bloodline from helping Roman win or stops Roman from cheating.

I don’t know. It’s a weird corner they’ve booked themselves into. There’s nothing bad about Cody’s push to the top, but it’s legitimately impossible to make it as compelling as this angle. They’ll never come close. And so help me if they ****ing manufacture a triple threat match.

I have a hard time believing they're going to go from Roman Reigns holding both belts for years to strapping the guy who lost the Jackass match at Mania last year. Maybe it would be better if their feud was independent of belts, so I'd feel like Sami had a chance once in a while.

I would absolutely expect Sami to have a live chance to be the one to dethrone Roman. A year is forever, and Sami is probably the biggest babyface in the company right now as a result of his work during that year. And they’ve put a ton of effort into building this specific story.
