Two of my three favorite main roster WWE people are Becky and Seth and I still think both rumbles sucked.

R-truth a lock to throw Seth over the top rope on Raw tomorrow.

Don't forgot that the minute the Rumble ends, Wrestlemania sign pointing season begins.

Why do they do the "lets just have the winner lie on the ground outside" spots rather than having them actually show they deserve to win it....

But yeah this definitely wasn't the worst rumble or PPV, but apart from Sasha & Ronda tearing the house down there wasn't really anything at the level you would expect from a Royal Rumble PPV.

Wikipedia is slow to figure things out.

I assume:

So Rollins wins and has longest time survived?
Braun runner up and most eliminations?

I mean the card was great on paper (I wouldn't say anywhere near most stacked eve), it's just that they didn't deliver on the potential

Well I might take a quick peek at the card before Mania and possibly watch that, but other than that I'm probably out for another 12 months. Hope ya'll enjoy it

Who knows, I might make an exception for elimination chamber

I counted like four elimns for Mcentire. Idk if it was more than Braun tho

It was fine, but there was a time when WWE was so stacked that guys like Jericho/Benoit were legit mid carders bc there was so much talent at the top.

As an old watching wrestling for the first time in a lot of years, the highlight for me was when Kurt Angle's music hit and the 'You Suck!' chant started within 2 seconds. But the fans were clearly pro Kurt.

It had two rumbles and all title matches with good workers who are over with the crowd. There was no filler on paper. So I stand by my take regardless of how you felt about the actual outcome.

I'm like 99% sure this forum would have been crapping on everything in the Attitude Era too. It's actually comical.

got to love that you can just take out a wrestler and take their spot in the rumble and nobody thought of beating the guy who's lost 200 matches in a row. Also lol @ him eliminating someone.

Thinking about it now--as he's trying to get in have two people try to beat him up and inadvertently start a feud with each other over it.

Its absurd that anyone not scheduled in the match can claim the 30th entry.

And ****ing Cole or the other version of him says, "Im gonna go ahead and assume this is official." Good idea.

I think it's worth noting the Attitude Era was 20 royal rumbles ago-- it's fair to say they've run out of ideas in the past two decades, so us saying they suck now isn't necessarily the same thing as us simply hating everything no matter what.

I mean, with the constraint of "the winner must headline WM," they really boxed themselves in.

Of the 30 entrants, only 2 or 3 are legitimate contenders, and therefore their own rules make it hard to construct an entertaining match since everyone knows almost everyone has zero chance of winning.

Yeah, I agree with this and I guess it's why I'm more forgiving. It seems super hard to book these matches in a satisfying way given all the expectations and moving parts.

I do think they need to retire the "guy gets put through a table" spot. Made it super obvious that Rollins was winning and I think the fans see it for what it is -- giving the future winner a nap partway through the match. Just staying in the ring for 40+ minutes would have made Seth look better.

Yeah I was certain Rollins was winning after that, and checked into the thread just to see multiple "well Rollins is winning"
