Speculations on why Scott Armstrong got knocked out of the ring, replaced by a second ref and then made it back in time to do the quick count? There doesn't seem to be a reason for that whole sequence.

As for Hunter, I wouldn't say he's pretending to be a face - he's doing a balancing act between how far he can push 'the locker room' without having a revolt on his hand and still making people suffer. As they're finally starting to push back, he's switching to dealing out punishment in less direct ways.

I agree the booking sequence was super weird, pointed it out in the NOC thread IIRC. I think the best speculation is they pulled a verbal and changed the booked ending OR it was just done as a swerve on viewers who of course expected something really overbooked and a ref bump is a big red flag that the ending is going to get super goofy.

As for the second parag, I would class that as pretending to be a face. Since the start of NOC he has been making face moves but is also pretty clearly doing it for heel reasons.

I'd just like to point out how freaking bad the Ricardo/RVD pairing has been. It hasn't had nearly enough hate. I mean, everyone hates it, but, IMO, this is one of the all time worst pairings.

RVD was getting a SUPER HOT reaction and putting on very high quality matches upon his return. It just seems like the crowd has dramatically cooled on him since Ricardo was shoved upon him.

It wouldn't surprise me if RVD quits in a few months, then begins doing shoot interviews trashing WWE creative for this...

Plus this isnt even the worst non-wrestler he was paired with. Bill Alfonso whistles hi for that title.

My god, NXT is randomly on tv here and there is a sasha banks/paige match. Its been on for like 3 minutes and its already better than any divas match I've seen in the WWE in the past 3 years (at least since mccool/layla's blowoff)

So tilting that they basically have to be trying hard to make their divas division as bad as it is.
