i think what i hate most about lawler is he represents how completely backwards the face/heel dynamic is

his interactions with cole:

cole at no point makes any kind of insult towards lawler, basically ever (anymore anyway). lawler just 2 minutes in says cole should get used to the heat since he's going to hell. any time cole raises a logical point he just yells shut up cole and offers no other retort

his interactions with everyone else:

nothing but personal insults, none of which are ever funny or ever make any sense

i don't understand who he's supposed to appeal to that makes him a face. there's just nothing likable about him

if the wwe is so hellbent on legitimizing and whatever else they should make anything a finisher instead of having a defined move. punk's curbstomp looks infinitely more devastating than the GTS, why not 1-2-3 after that?

plus out of nowhere pins would be a lot more exciting
