There are 2 different versions of Smackdown, which one aired depends on the country you live in.

I was just thinking about the rumours that WWE wants to do another year long feud as well as possibly signing an ex wrestler to a contract and this came to mind. Last night they said that Taker/HHH is end of an era and they all did a curtain call-esque hug as if none of them are going to wrestle again. Taker comes out tonight and says he has had a great career, he is 20-0 and he has beaten everyone that matters at Wrestlemania so the Last Outlaw is riding off into the sunset for the last time as he retires from the WWE. Brock Lesnar's music hits and he comes out and destroys Undertaker before grabbing the mic and saying that this time next year the Undertaker will be retired but he will be 20-1. The Raw after 'Mania is usually the highest rated of the year and I think that would be a great way to create a buzz and would actually make sense to start the feud a year ahead of time given that Taker only wrestles for the streak now.

whether its austin/someone, cena/rock 2, taker/brock etc

one other thing i thought about was the speech rock gave to cena in the lead up he said "i will go down as one of the best of all time because i've beaten austin, other stars, and now cena". the story lines potentially come together if rock comes out tmr night and starts saying this when the gong hits. it would also make a bit more sense as neither of them will be around, so we dont get someone in the company feuding with someone that isnt even there like we did last year.

If there is another year long feud I think this is the best way to set it up. Rock cuts a promo how he is the GOAT now because he beat Hogan, Austin and Cena at WM before he is interrupted by Taker or maybe Lesnar.

Rock/Taker is the best year long feud they can make right now with all the pieces they have to play with imo.

Man, I don't want another Taker match, no matter who he fights. He can't lose at Mania, we get it.

If Lesnar shows up tonight, I suppose starting Lesnar/Cena makes sense. WOuld be funny f Lesnar F5s him through a table or whatever and injures Cena so he misses next week's RAW so that he's not there as he claimed he would be.

Also Taker coming out to challenge Rock saying "you haven't done it all yet" makes sense.

If Taker and Dwayne set up a year long feud tonight I will not watch WWE until after WM29 (which I was planning on going to before last night's debacle), and will never watch again if Dwayne goes over. Stick the IRM seal on it.

The last time I said I would stop watching was if DX reformed in 2006, and I only started watching again late 2010 cos my girlfriend started getting into it. I'm hoping to put some legitimacy into the seal.

I've stopped watching before too, but one does not simply stop watching when they're entrenched as part of this forum.

Its dumb to talk about quitting cos Brock ****ing Lesnar is returning tonight and he is going to be awesome and Big Johnny is in charge of both shows AND Lord Tetanus has apparently gotten really awesome since going to Japan AND Jon Moxley, Tyler Black and the Kings of Wrestling will all be debuting soon AND Skip Sheffield is going to be back from the future!!!!

Lets draw a line under how terrible they are at big PPVs cos we have a run of small PPVs and a lot of exciting talent ready to change the 'this business' really soon.

I'm not quitting, but I'll probably not watch Raw in realtime as often. We'll see how tonight goes. Compressing 2 hours of nonsense into 1 hour of good television improves the show, but I do enjoy hanging out itt during Raw.

I know Rock, Cena, and Punk will all be on tonight but I'm interested to see if Bryan, Jericho, Taker, HHH, HBK, Lesnar, or Austin are on tonights show.

And I know I shouldn't but that ending last night really made me think we are going to see a change in Cena's character.
