The outcome of Taker/Drew at SS will shoe where the creative process is. Drew needs to be going over, preferably clean.

Only caught it out of the corner of my eye, but did Lacey completely whiff her punch?

They showed a slow mo after the commercial of her connecting very well with Becky's chin.

Eh, I was looking for a better payoff than Cedric Alexander there. Wouldn't have even minded if they kept the janitor under a mask character going for a while with the idea it was really this guy. Guess Heyman's hands were tied with the event this weekend, but the entire effort was pretty bland.

That was a bad show but at least Sarah Logan got on TV. Next step: ring music.

Watched the end of Raw this morning. WTF was that? That made absolutely no sense at all.

I mean I get what he's trying to do, involving new people. It was something different. I just didn't care in this instance. Like I said, I would have preferred they left the mask on and you really thought it was this guy for a few weeks, months.

And, as always, they completely botched the execution. Even with the element of surprise where his opponents were expecting a non-wrestler, Cedric still ate a finisher and got pinned in about a minute. Heaven forbid someone get one over on Shane even once.

That's heat!!! Avoiding Roman for the pin!!!

That whole thing was so bizarre. You could tell they worked backwards from "Cedric doing cool moves dressed as a janitor" and then had to contrive a way to make it happen, so they had Shane find another black guy, Drew ask him to put on a mask (???), etc. Then Cedric was acting like he had totally played Shane and Drew when he almost got his head kicked off by the Claymore and lost in three minutes which might have been even weirder. And Roman was just kind of there the whole time and not doing anything.

Charitably, this could be interpreted as them at least trying new things and I guess you're going to swing and miss sometimes.

Indeed he did. Was the promo first segment?

Looking forward to Black/Cesaro Sunday.

KO came out during the SD! open and screamed a shoot promo while Shane cut his mics. Then KO went onto the broadcast headset and did it there and then security chased him away. Was pretty good.

I wish they didn't do a couple hotshot turns in quick succession, but where they've ended up with KO has a lot of potential. I always thought he could be really good as an average guy/voice of the fans face who runs down the heels.

Shane also deserves some credit for being so despised that anyone running him down is an instant face, no questions asked.

I really don't buy this because he has been awful. Not in a boo heel type of way but in a the product is **** everyone is stopping watching kind of way.

The pop that KO got last night when he mentioned that Shane has way too much screen time proves this. It's a shame the WWE can script a promo knowing they hate seeing Shane yet they just keep Shane on screen like it's good heat. Shane ain't going anywhere anytime soon.

Meh. You're supposed to hate the heels. I think people want to see Shane get his ass kicked and his eventual comeuppance will be great for whichever babyface delivers it.

I also disagree that he's been awful. I find the best in the world shtick with the announcers hilarious and he's playing that role of the privileged rich kid who thinks he's amazing very well. He's not Daniel Bryan or anything but I haven't been as offended by this push as everyone else. I actually prefer it to babyface Shane by a lot.

I'm just sick of seeing old guys who clearly can't wrestle get in the ring because of their legacy or name or whatever reason they're doing so. Take, Goldberg, Shane, I'm sure there's more. I'd argue HHH as well since he hasn't produced a good 1-on-1 match in quite some time. They need to just **** off forever. I'm sick of them being a staple of WWE.

edit: it doesn't help that I don't have faith in this Shane angle ending in anything other than Roman getting the big win on him because Roman.
