We've spoken to death about how hilariously bad the whole "brand supremacy" story-line is every single year come Survivor Series.

Just think how pathetic it's going to be this year when WWE champion Roman Reigns is spearheading 'team blue' and his hatred of Monday Night Raw when he's appeared on every single Monday night as a WILD CARD

A mom with her two kids next to us sat through the Main Event taping prior to the show, then 2 hours and 45 minutes of Raw, and got up and left after Kofi's entrance.

After that amazing RAW episode last night, I'm definitely in for SD!!!!

Sami's alive!!!! wtf how? and not a scratch on him. and smiling. and not mentioning Braun.

omg starting off with smelly jokes. this is setting the stage for an epic episode!!! a chant from the crowd "take a shower". good to see that the crowd's showing Vince that his sense of humor's amazing.

Sami Zayn: Literally murdered on RAW. On SD! he gets a WWE title match.

and what the **** is with these promos after a wrestler makes an entrance. They did it for Ricochet and War Raiders last night and this time they do Ali comes out > commercial > back to Ali > pretaped 2-3m promo by Ali > finally to the ring. This is so tilting. Why do they think this is a good idea?

I think they're just starting to realize everything else they do is a bad idea and have no idea what to do now.

In keeping with the new three...uh, four man wild card rule...five Raw talents have already shown up on Smackdown.

I didn't watch much of the last 1.5 hours of SD! cause poker playing but I caught this because Kairi



and the booking of Kofi last night and tonight seems A+ trying to make him seem credible vs. K-GOAT and whoever his next opponent is.

No IIconics on either show and 5 seconds of Kairi+Asuka, I am disappoint.

They buried sami zayn? Did not see that coming.

Is Vince mad at Braun Stroman? Why hasn't he done anything of note in like a year now?

He committed murder this past Monday. Seems noteworthy.

Seriously, it seems like Brock didn't like him and perhaps that rubbed off on Vince.

The women's division got like five minutes across the two shows after main-eventing Mania, which made me a little concerned. It also made the shows really boring to me since frankly outside of like Bryan and Owens, all of the men's wrestlers are pretty samey and dull.

RE: Stroman, he had a horrendous live promo with Heyman where he totally flubbed his lines, then botched multiple spots in the battle royal at WM. I think he struggles in the ring when it's not a gimmicky match and would be hard to book as champ, so they seem to have cooled to the idea of him being a top guy in that regard.

I've seen/read that Vince isn't enamored with Stroman's work ethic. Shows up late and stuff. But also, I think one of the same sources said he's not so crazy about Becky either. Could definitely see her losing her second match at the PPV though. Would make sense.

Also seems to be the networks that have made this "wild card" rule necessary. Both USA and Fox want the same guys on their shows going forward. In the end, it's the fans that lose. Without network bull**** and public stock, they could probably do some really compelling brand split stuff. Keep it a hard split for like a year or two and have some real hostility going if anyone does ever show up on the other show. Like they need protection or something. Then again, it's Vince...who am I kidding?

If Braun isn't ready to be in the main event scene, he shouldn't have ever been turned face. Part of why I'm so bored with the WWE is that right now there are zero heels that have been booked to look strong. The easiest story to tell is a babyface overcoming all the odds to beat a seemingly unbeatable opponent. But all the opponents right now are easily beatable. The question is no longer "How can the babyface possibly win?", it's "Will the babyface get screwed over or will the match just end in a DQ?"

AEW can't come soon enough.

I get what you're saying though. People could give two ****s about Kofi. They proved that when you tell a compelling story the right way, they can get the crowd behind anyone. They just so seldom do these things and then when they find one thing people like, they either drop it completely for unknown reasons or jam it down your throat until you're sick of it. Not only can't/won't they create good things anymore, but they don't know how to moderate it on the rare cases they do either.

I'm interested to know if they ever have known how to do it. Is it just nostalgia looking back at the great bits and giving the people booking it too much credit?

RAW hasn't been bad but nothing has happened, at all. Filler to the max.

I'm watching old Parks and Rec episodes and waiting for the tom McGee thing.

WWE Network is dropping a show about it after Raw. Sounds like the match will be released as part of it maybe.
