She's a champion in the WWE who isn't a former MMA star. She's going to be made to look weak. It's what they do. Daniel Bryan is currently in a losing streak to a midcarder 4 life. The Raw tag team champions just lost clean to a couple of vanilla midgets. Champions are always booked to look weak.

Roman's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack. Lots of sympathy cheering. Wonder if it'll keep up. Man, surely roman would never agree to the cancer angle as a storyline, right?

right?

I can't believe Vince passed up the opportunity to get nuclear heat on someone by having Roman get attacked right after coming back from cancer.

Nuclear. ****ing. Heat.

They even had a former WCW champion sitting right in the front row.

Why would Stephanie have the power to over-rule a decision that Vince made over-rulling her in the first place?

Alexa Bliss has match scheduling authority now?

I don't know what was worse in that segment, that or her bargaining to see something she sees on Raw every week and Corey flipping out like she was going strip for him.

I'll admit the Flair beat down was completely unexpected.

I expected something to "ruin the party", but not that. I'm not sure how I feel about it either.

I'm a huge Flair mark, and I'm sure he relishes being used in another angle, but the whole thing just felt cheaper than how they should be using Flair at this point in time.

Ironic that they brought back Batista as a face in the wrong spot last time and now they may have brought him back as a heel when maybe he should be the face against HHH?

Batista came back? To beat up Flair?

Knowing nothing about what happened, I assume that Batista will face HHH at some point. He's a heel because HHH needs his win back from all of those 2005 losses.

Batista and Reigns came back on the same show?

Haha I didn't watch RAW or read results and these posts have me really confused.

Roman cancer is a work?

Alexa Bliss is a general manager?

First I thought Flair was Charlotte but now people are saying Batista is back?

wtf...

That was actually a pretty fun ending imo but man I couldn’t be less hyped for a Triple H vs Batista mania match in 2019

Roman announcement is great obv, and the Batista thing was cool out of surprise value alone.....but this was another **** episode.

Some lowlights.

-The Revival lost clean for the second straight week to another NXT tag team. At least DIY were tag team champs who have beat them in the past. Yesterday they got squashed by a makeshift tag team of 2 singles guys for no reason. If you want to push the NXT guys great, have them squash any of the jobber teams out there. Why the **** are the revival champions? Most insignificant belt in WWE right now.
Spoiler:
(Ok fine, someone still has the US title right?)

-The Ronda promo was really awkward and confusing. The proper way for the fans to rally behind Stone Cold Becky getting into the WM match is certainly NOT having Ronda Rousey demand Becky gets put into it by threatening the company otherwise. Not sure the point of this direction.

-Kurt Angle looked like he killed one of the Singh brothers with an extremely lazy german suplex. The guy immediately grabbed his neck too and it scared me.

-Braun Strowman had a match vs Lashley that just ended because.....why? Or never started? I had no idea what was going on there.

-Some ridiculous attempt to be funny but wasn't promo between the Ascension (they talk now?) and whatever Heavy Machinery is, I still don't understand whether they are a comedy act or a legitimate tag team threat.

-Alexa Bliss with random authority to make an intercontinental title match.

-Bayley squashing Nia Jax who could eat 4 Bayleys for breakfast.

You need to start condensing it down to 5 minutes worth of watch time like I do. Nothing makes sense, crap booking, no real time given to matches.

Probably going to be pushing Riccohet and Black until the next TakeOver because:

Spoiler:
they're in the Dusty Classic Finals

I watched the Batista/Flair stuff from last night. ****ing terrible. They take something like 12 minutes introducing people to have a backstage segment that really wasn't good at all because it had no action. I can't imagine being in this audience, sitting through that and then Flair not coming out.

The point is to make it so Ronda doesn't get booed out of the building by having her be the one who is the "voice of the fans" and gets Becky back into the match. Which made sense for her character I guess, but it's quite a lame story compared to where we were at a month ago. Nothing WWE has done with this story has made more excited for the match.

It's too bad Ronda is apparently mentally incapable of handling getting boos or something, because heelish Ronda vs. Becky was absolute money and now instead we have this cluster**** of a storyline that is about some meta "this needs to be the best women's main event possible" crap instead of it just being two women who want to be the best. And that would have been the main event because it was the hottest storyline. The inclusion of Charlotte in this match might be the worst decision I've seen in all of my years watching wrestling.

The tip off that something was up was when they had five minutes on a show that doesn't over-run anymore and Flair wasn't out yet. Considering Flair's health issues, there were limitations of what he could physically do in good taste, so that's about as good as we were going to get.

Found it odd there were no Horsemen present though. Batista probably should have terrorized Steph like Orton did like a decade ago. Steph is not really a sympathetic figure at all, but I don't think they actually believe that.

Rhonda has to slow down her promos. Passion is great, but she ends up coming across as flustered and it's becoming cringe worthy sometimes.

Also forgot to mention the absolute highlight of Raw for me was HHH recounting all the great things that happened on the show, like Roman Reigns returning from leukemia, but that it pales in comparison to Ric Flair's birthday.

!!!

K-GOAT vs Bryan at Fastlane! I haven't been this ready for a match in a very long time. Easily my two favorite men in the company. A shame it's not at WM.

Also a shame that K-GOAT didn't come back to whip Lashley's ass after Lashley put him on the shelf with a brutal post match attack. I guess putting him on SD is a way to get around that for now but damn I want to see K-GOAT get his revenge.

Only two segments into SD. Two big returns so far. Neither makes any real sense in the way in which they returned.
