Is it even worth me watching it?

I just downloaded and fast forwarded the bad stuff. I watched in around 10m so I'm gonna say it's not worth it.

Ziggler turn might be interesting for a few weeks even if predictable.

Only other things I even remember now are Nia screaming into the mic and almost rupturing the speakers on my TV and Rhonda making more angry faces.

Yeah, I couldn't grab a Ronda smiling shot which made me . I know this is unsurprising to anyone, but Alexa looks great when smiling. I never noticed since she's always been a heel and rarely smiles.

I think I'm just going to start listening to podcast type reviews so I'm up to date with what's going on and can use that to seek out the good bits. I skipped through this episode in about 10 mins myself as I basically didn't care about any of it. Ziggler Drew has potential, Dean Seth will be a good match but zzz build up (which is mad) and the rest who cares.

She was a face at first in NXT.

IIRC, everyone thought it was weird when she turned heel because "she was such a natural face".

I’ve seen tweets where even podcasters are deciding not to watch. It’s really, really bad.

I barely remember Alexa as a face in NXT, but I can't fathom her turning face again at this point with how good she is (similar to Miz)

I posted in the NXT thread that she had the makings of an awesome heel months before they turned her. I'm posting this because it's the only god damn thing I've gotten right in the last five years and want to remember it.

Monday's Raw had the lowest viewership in the show's history

It makes sense that Vince would think environmentalists are heels.

It was really bad. I had to turn the channel twice and then I had to turn it off after giving it a 3rd try within the first hour.

Apparently Vince has been taking full control including things like writing the past couple of episodes. 3 weeks ago, i.e. the one after the last PPV was by far the worst though. I literally just do no care about anything on the show now.

Smackdown was good though. Women's stuff is interesting, Jeff Orton neither do it for me but Joe is so good and I'm liking his direction just hope he goes on to get some much needed wins. Miz Shane is funny and Bryan AJ is good. Tag division is a little boring but all Usos, bar and new day are all so good that you know PPV matches will be well worth watching.

Paige is the only real downside to smackdown currently she's bad on the mic and takes away from the segments she's in.

The writing's obviously bad but I gotta think the injuries have something to do with it. Roman gone, Braun out, K-GOAT, Sami, Alexa. Possibly missing one or two but those guys (minus Sami really) are focal points of RAW. This is why Vince putting all his eggs in one basket was a horrible idea.

All that said, Rollins and Ambrose should've been interesting. Give Elias a big win or make Lashley a bigger deal and RAW could be a lot better. Having read some "spoilers" for WM, it doesn't look like RAW's going to get much better.

edit: release Nia and Tamina would improve things. call up Kairi and the MMA chick.

Injuries are obviously a negative but even if none of those people were injured they'd still be doing stupid boring crap. Sami Zayn is probably my favourite wrestler and KO is awesome but if they were back they'd just be getting buried by Lashley or doing stupid ****. Alexa not being fit to compete is hardly a huge negative as she is a meh wrestler and her mic stuff has been boring recently.

The best storylines at the moment are meh and most are actively hurting what could have been very good feuds and none of the wrestling going on is more than ok. I just hope we get some ok PPV matches out of the rivalries that could be good in the ring.

It's the cringey stuff that makes me turn it and just listen to wrap-up podcasts.

Don't keep forcing Baron, Nia, Alicia and Bailey to act - they seem like 5th graders doing a skit. Make improv classes and Toastmasters meetings mandatory for these under-performers (or over-performers in Alicia's case.)

Stop with the potty humor - The Drake Maverick pee stuff is not funny to anyone except for Vince.

The spot where Bobby Lashley does his "moon" pose is not funny to anyone in the world except for Vince, and it isn't offensive to anyone in the world except for Joe Buck.

I'll never not love Joe Buck's completely unreasonable flip-out at that moment.

As a 5-year member of Toastmasters, I can assure you that most of the seasoned Toastmasters speakers are complete hacks and as over-the-top in their acting as most of the roster is. Most get over because they're well-connected with higher-ups, dress nicely, and are somewhat attractive.

So it seems they know this show sucks and they know why, but the basic explanation is they're tanking Raw on purpose so they can blame it on Corbin?

Vince is so many levels above all of us.

I'm justifying watching tonight as it's the go home show for TLC. If it's bad that's me done with weekly raw*.

*Unless TLC gives me hope

We're on like 20 years now of go-home shows being worse than the average episode.

Normally I would agree, but these go home shows for gimmick PPVs illustrate stuff like guys actually knowing how to climb a ladder or throw people over the top rope that we weren't sure about.

I've enjoyed this so far.
