Raw has been amazing lately. They've made me care about every feud. Brock/Joe has made me interested in the Universal title for the first time since it's been created. Reigns/Strowman is one of the best rivalries in years. Goldust is doing his best work since the Attitude era. Great Balls of Fire could easily end up being the best PPV of the year.
It's funny you say that, because outside of looking at Roman Reigns, my wife his zero interest in wrestling so I usually watch it when she is at work or sleeping or something, but I have it on now. She came downstairs and was in the TV room while the package for Joe/Brock was playing and even though she wouldn't admit it, she was fascinated by it. And it wasn't until the Cedric/Dar match after that she missed her sarcastic comments. I still haven't introduced her to Nakamura yet and I'm not sure how she would react to him

I agree that RAW has been a lot better than Smackdown lately, and I wonder how much of that is due to the fact they have given a lot of the undercard guys something to do. There is the Enzo/cass thing. Goldust and R Truth having their feud which has been building for almost a year, and even Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel have been on TV.

We did it! No posts during Smackdown!

and apparently nobody was paying attention since there were no posts immediately after. Though, tbf, this has happened many times and it is the 4th. BUT! John Cena came back or was supposed to. I have no idea if he really did or what direction he's going in .

Apparently we're getting Cena and Rusev in a flag match at Battleground.

I watched, and I will say that The Usos went savage on Xavier Woods during the rap battle

Smackdown having three different generic anti-American heels is not getting me super excited each week.

Has there ever been a good flag match?

Rusev v Big E competitive aggressive flag waving will always be the gold standard

I gotta give props where it's due. I really enjoyed both Raw and Smackdown this week. Definitely some of the most enjoyable of the year. GBOF has a stacked card with some decent storylines. I'm actually excited.

Cena: Now that I'm a free agent and can appear on both shows, I can have exciting feuds and matches with top guys I either haven't faced in a long time, or have never faced before. Let me recite a list for you of a bunch of such people.....

You understood all of that? Can you just explain why there were so many guys in the ring? And one guy was covering his face with a bandanna. Was he a fugitive?

I love the whole Cena free agent thing. Like a way of celebrating his status with the company that he can wrestle whoever, where ever. Kind of like they do in baseball, where Miguel Cabrera can choose whichever pitcher he wants to hit against on any given night.

More seriously, I hate that they would bring both of those guys back the same night to face each other, partially because it's something we've seen not to long ago.

Not to mention that there's a stupid stip and everyone knows who's going to win. Also that if not for his injury, Rusev would likely be champ now instead of Jinder.

Cena being a free agent is pretty interesting. I hope we get a Reigns/Cena feud with the storyline being Cena wants to prove he's still the best in WWE.

Cena/Reigns main event at WM 34 would cause a real scene at the Superdome when all of the smark fans just combust spontaneously because they wouldn't know who to cheer or boo.

Should possibly be in the NVG thread wrt plans for Brock, Cena, Reigns @ SS and Mania:
Spoiler:

That is the rumor atm. Reigns/Brock being done at SummerSlam which leaves Reigns open to face Cena and Brock's retirement match vs. Strowman.

I don't think that smarks would struggle with this choice at all. They would get behind Cena in overwhelming numbers.

A Cena heel turn will be just the thing to get Reigns over!

I would be okay with all of this happening.

What if they did this but it didn't work because

Spoiler:
Stroman's not finished with Brock yet?
