my DVR cuts off at 11:15 and Cass was still giving his promo and hadn't yet attacked Enzo.
This is literally the first time since I started following again (2 ish years?) that Raw ran past my dvr programming. Wouldn't have expected that to occur on an Enzo/Cass segment.
I like the idea of the turn, not the execution. Cass is gonna get better on the mic as a heel for sure, but his promo was way too drawn out and explained. He would've been better keeping it short, attacking Enzo, then next week when hes getting a ton of heat from the crowd he could cut a longer one explaining himself.
As it stood the audience just sat there and sat there waiting for an attack to happen, while Enzo just stood in the ring awaiting a beatdown. Came off as really odd to me.
FWIW, when I ramble about how great Becky is, it's because of promos like tonight. Absolutely great pure babyface promo.
I also marked when she and Sami interacted and had visions of them forming a mixed tag team and having 1000 hard-luck losses in a row while still somehow being cheered by everybody.
