Every segment other than Brock/Joe felt completely mailed in - thankfully, I was watching the NBA finals and got through all of Raw in about 30 minutes afterwards. That part was nice at least.

If Big Show wanted a tag team partner, wouldn't Enzo be like his last choice?

So, on the April 25th ep of Smackdown, Rusev made his debut after the "superstar shake up" in a video promo in which he angrily refused to join the SD roster unless he was given a WWE championship match at Money in the Bank.

Flash forward almost 2 months, we've neither seen Rusev nor heard anything about him/his demands. Money in the Bank is Sunday, and obviously he isn't getting a title match.

So what's more likely?

A) Rusev appearing on tonights Smackdown, looking to wreak havoc.
B) WWE totally abandoning/forgetting a good promo ever happened, and Rusev just appears back on tv in the coming weeks as if it never happened.

C) He's accompanying Lana to the ring for a big match against Charlotte.

Recently, in some thread, someone said they enjoyed Jinder's new entrance. What was his old entrance, during commercials?

Fashion Files brings it again. Sami Zayn photo labeled "Generic". Also Charlotte/Nattie was pretty good but weird finish.

Jinder is really making the most of this push IMO

He's like a much better Alberto Del Rio.

The rumors I've read are that they were planning a push, but it got put on the backburner because of their decision to put the title on Jinder. I'm sure he is back soonish.

Is it weird that I'm eagerly anticipating the beautiful trainwreck of Lana vs. Naomi?

ok this bit of throwing every single person/team of a division in the ring together needs to stop. it's already bad enough with the brand split, but it makes it infinitely harder to create new or organic storylines when you're repeatedly doing this ****.

IDK if you guys knew this bit Sami Zayn is a scrappy hard working underdog who is just grateful for the opportunity to be here. What a television character.

Sami was a more sympathetic figure in NXT. While I'm happy their putting him in a better spot on SD, they're making him into kind of a clown.

I think his promos are funny and endearing while letting him show personality. He's just trying really hard to win and I like that, idk.

The midcard in WWE is dead.

It really is

I actually can't think of any midcarders who are seriously portrayed or being reasonably groomed for upper card down the road.

It's nothing but comedy acts and ex main eventers in holding patterns, like ambrose

Miz

Yeah miz is a fine example actually though I suspect a lot of it has to do with Miz WIMing it up every night and taking his character/kayfabe seriously rather than WWE trying to set him up for a push down the line

Plus the miz is really just an ex main eventer. Other than mayyyybe Baron Corbin there's really nobody jumping out to me who is being portrayed seriously and as a competitor who is working his way up the ranks/honing his skills so that one day he will compete for the main title. But I guess when you're willing to just take a guy like jinder mahal and randomly make him the champion after a week long push then who cares

Miz does not have supreme in-ring ability.

No.

Miz is a top-notch performer. His wife helps, but it's definitely not just that she's hot, it's also that they understandably have tremendous on-screen chemistry as a duo.

Sami is probably the second best in-ring performer behind AJ. He could get over like Bryan did if they would tweak his character slightly, and start letting him work longer matches that show how awesome he is.

Neville is second best midcsrder behind miz

I took that to mean that he could get over in the manner that Bryan did (be a lovable underdog and put on great matches), not that he could get as over as Bryan.

I sure hope they are grooming Neville to come on to the main card soon. I love his character and he's crushed the division. They built him up over the long haul, which is rare nowadays; and i feel like his character should get "tired" of the 205 division and want to achieve greater things.

i mean if finn balor has the size for a main event spot, neville at least deserves a chance on mid card
