Right. They should have been sure to align the gurney the same way it landed for believability. But, then again they shouldn't have tipped the ambulance either, for the same reason.

payback PPV--everyone is going to end up defending their brand only title against someone from the other brand.

your smackdown to RAW group

Apollo Crews
The Miz
Maryse
Dean Ambrose & IC title
Curt Hawkins
Bray Wyatt
Kalisto
Heath Slater
Rhyno
Alexa Bliss
Mickie James

Pretty hard for smackdown not to crush this trade. Miz should've stayed put tho but kayfabe he was gonna be first guy dealt by SD since he didn't have the title anymore.

In kayfabe, Daniel Bryan hates the Miz, so it makes sense to trade him. OTOH, in kayfabe, Steph hates Seth, so we'll see.

I agree that Charlotte is the best but I think Alexa isn't too far off. Both are way better than Bayley & Sasha though. How the hell was Bayley ever over. Like seriously grown men show up to public events with shirts that say "I'm a hugger". She must have been pretty ****ing over and I just don't get how that's possible. She's terrible.

Alexa is on another level from anyone else in the division on the mic, but is pretty green in the ring still. Pairing her with Nia makes some sense, idk if they're going in that direction or just did it tonight only.

Charlotte is probably the best in the ring, but I still think Becky is the best overall and I'll die on that hill. (Really glad she stayed on SD.)

Biggest mark-out moment of this show was when it started going off the air and I realized AJ wasn't going to Raw.

Alexa is great on the stick and great to look at which distracts you from the fact that she's pretty terrible in the ring.

Im not exactly sure what makes Becky the best overall SR that Charlotte doesn't crush her at, but to each their own.

Specifically, I think Charlotte is pretty meh on the mic -- she has a good presence and confidence, but she has this stilted delivery that makes it sound less natural and more like she's reciting her lines in front of a mirror.

I've probably ranted about Becky before, but I just think she is an incredible babyface -- possibly the best on either show, man or woman. She gets the whole crowd behind her, is good in the ring and on the mic, and brings out the best of anyone she feuds with because she's so genuine and believable. I don't think it's a coincidence that Charlotte + Alexa shot up the power rankings here right when they started feuding with Becky.

This sort of works to her detriment, because she is used more in an enhancement role since she's so good at getting heels over, and the losses drive her whole fighting hard character. I'd like to see her open up her move set more, but I really think she's as talented as anyone and just hasn't been the focus since SD had so much new talent she was guiding along. Her match with Sasha at whatever NXT Takeover that was is probably my favorite WWE women's match.

Alexa is easily my favourite on the mic and it's not even close.

I know what you mean with Charlotte's delivery but I think it's kind of done on purpose. I think she's supposed to come off as over the top, talking down to the audience and just generally annoying. With that said I thought heel Seth's delivery was annoying on purpose until he started doing face promos...

For me, Becky is as bad and cringy on the mic as Bayley. Both just seem forced and unnatural for faces. Becky is slightly more tolerable than Bayley but I still Sideshow Bob shiver every time she says "Becky Balboa Baby". Becky makes up for it by being good in ring though, Bayley not so much.

Naomi seems underrated. She's not super technical but she's exciting to watch most of the time.

Becky does that stupid pump up thing every match when her opponent is groggy in the corner. Automatically loses any chance at best womens wrestler right there. Not quite as bad as Sheamus yelling FELLLLLAAAAAAAAA though

I don't like the way Becky runs. I can't even pinpoint it, but she makes the Irish Whip a non believable move.

I swear, all women seem to f up irish whips and hitting the ropes. Its always so awkward looking, like theyre afraid the ropes will break

I think Charlotte goes to SD tonight so hopefully there's a Becky/Charlotte feud coming.

Other predictions:
Owns
Zayn
The Club
Emma

Kind of hoping Finn goes too but I doubt it. Full Bullet Club on SD would be nice. SD needs like 6 or 7 people to join. Rusev would be good too if his shoulder is close to healed

Apparently, running the ropes actually hurts, so that could be it. It just seems that Becky runs the ropes worse than everyone else. It seems like such a little thing, but running the ropes happens in every single match, so if you can't do it well, it gets more noticeable.

Also, completely off topic. But the announcers in the Ambrose/KO match said something to the effect of, "you don't want to throw punches with Ambrose." Why are they drawing attention to what is undoubtedly the worst part of Ambrose's arsenal.

I noticed they did the same thing during the Shane/AJ match, praising Shane's punches. Do they think we can't see?

I know that Austin once said something about Mike Tyson's WWF punches looking terrible because he threw these quick punches that don't look like much, instead of very theatrical punches with large windups that wrestler's throw. I guess that's what they are trying to portray with Dean and Shane's punches. But they still look like crap.

Tyson's punch is at 1:18 for reference.

All of the women other than charlotte are pretty awful in the ring. Iirc Becky does a decent job of selling though which makes her matches less terrible.

I think punches are incredibly difficult to sell as real. Wrestling would be better off if they eliminated punching all together. Two main reasons:

First of all, they look fake. If you're doing the theatrical cartoonish wind up, it looks like a joke. If you're doing the Shane/dean baby jabs, it looks like a joke. Regardless of which one you choose, you always have to pull your punch at the last moment (or graze the guy's forehead) and it never looks like it hurts, not for a second.

Second reason is that a punch is the only move 99% of the crowd can relate to. Almost everyone has been punched once or twice. I have no idea how I would react to a choke slam but I sure as hell know that I wouldn't be able to stand up if I got punched in the face by a 6'4 275 monster, let alone punched 50 times in the span of 10 minutes.

The nonexistent benefit of a worthless meaningless punch in the context of a wrestling match is not worth forcing the crowd to fail in their attempts to suspend disbelief.

Forearms look cool. Everyone should be more lik Cesaro
