that legit might be the best segment in years. people fully invested, one is super over as a face, other has legit heat.

I just picture Jericho on the apron about to jump down but KO requests a kiss *long passionate kiss*, KO turns around and takes a big boot spear and loses in 18 seconds.

It was a beautiful mix of this is your life and jericho hbk segment for their huge feud.

Unpopular opinion: I have no problem with Goldberg winning the belt. Goldberg and Brock have been booked as the strongest wrestlers in the company, so it makes sense they would be feuding for the belt. I hate when wrestlers are "bigger" than the belt. The goal should always be to be the champion.

its definitely a hot potato title (im sure ill be bitching about it in 3 weeks cause they wont have charlotte lose her streak at a ppv like fast lane) and sure id rather wait a handful of weeks and do it as a great feel good mania moment (like it would have been last year), but **** it. that was still awesome. and it helped a lot that it was just the main event without 20 minutes of mick telling me how amazing it is that they can main event. commentary was really good during it too.


That was a really, really good raw. The last hour was elite. The joe interview was great. Joe/Sami stuff was solid. Braun looked like a monster just casually picking up Henry. It was probably the best Raw since the brand split. Awesome work.

I thought that was cool. People will say hot potato but the alternative of Bayley going over at WM is something everyone would've seen coming from a mile away and it gets to stand on its own rather than in the middle of a big card.

Are the Alphas the only title holders to win a match (whether for the title or not) since the Rumble?

I'm refusing to watch as a protest but you can't tell me these belts have any prestige at all when the main title holders heading into WM end up being Bayley/Naomi/Bray Wyatt/Goldberg.

(all 4 aren't gonna be champs into WM I reckon but holy **** this is at least IC level of awful)

Thought it was too early for Bayley to win it, but the match was done perfectly and won me over. Also obv can't realistically do a super long-term build with such a thin roster.

That and the Jericho/Owens segment and Samoa Joe being awesome made this one of the best Raws in a long time.

I just can't get into Bayley, I find her ring and mic work so average. I also think "I'm a wrestling fan" isn't a strong gimmick. Must be an unpopular opinion though because most people here seem to be happy.

I haven't seen much since she's been called up but she's legitimately cringeworthy to me. Loved her matches with Sasha in NXT but...

Meh, if I magically knew when Raw was going to roll out an inspired episode then I'd certainly be tuned in too, but I just can't subject myself to the weekly grind of it anymore. Missing the live viewing experience of the scattered good episodes seems like an acceptable cost.

...that said, I'm still salty that I wasn't watching the Mark Henry salmon suit promo as it happened.
