The guys on Cheap Heat said that after watching the Shane workout video last week, they thought that Shane could legit compete with some of the superstars in a shoot match.

Are they crazy? Shane is old and small. Even jobbers like Ryder, Fandango, and Social Outcasts are much bigger, younger, and in better shape. The small guys (e.g., Kalilsto) could run circles around him until Shane tires.

In addition, Barrett was an amateur boxer, Lesnar and Del Rio were MMA fighters, and a bunch of guys were amateur wrestlers (e.g., Ziggler, Woods, Cody).

I'm legit surprised that experienced wrestling journalists would think that. Sure, a random fan might think that. But anyone who really follows wrestling has to realize that most wrestlers are really good athletes, have good stamina, are strong, and very tough.
