How would you feel if they combined this at some point with three straight weeks of a New Day member coming out to answer the challenge, followed by Cena challenging them to a tag title match with a partner of his choice (I like Sami Zayn if available), who may have made the save in a 3-on-1 beatdown of Cena after his third victory?

What if they have Lana getting kissy with Dolph as a fakeout and she uses the power of her vagina to recruit Kevin Owens as her instrument of destruction against all those who have wronged her, including Cena?

this is all dampened by the fact that you still have Bork to factor in but if it were up to me you have KO taking out everyone starting with cena, eventually get him in a fatal fourway with ambrose, reigns, rollins (c) and for a couple of months leading up to that match have rollins lean more and more tweener and tease some kind of dissention between him and h.

then in the 4way authority eventually comes in, beats down reigns, beats down ambrose, gets ready to beat down KO but instead turns on rollins, KO wins title, h raises his arm, play the whole h NXT connection and now KO is the face of the authority holding the title.

After the match authority beats down rollins more, ambrose and reigns makes the save, rollins turns face, shield reunited

My immediate thought with KO was to have him be the authority's/Rollins' actual muscle for a while, and I certainly think it's still plausible, given his actual and kayfabe (after last night's little segment in the parking lot) relationship with HHH.

Judging by the size of his gut sticking out last night, either Owens started wearing shmedium shirts, or he's put on a good 25+ pounds since his NXT debut.

It's really a shame that Daniel Bryan is injured because having Kevin Owens come out and do to DB what Brock Lesnar did to John Cena would have gotten an awesome crowd reaction.

Well, Neville did debut the night after WM, and there was nothing left for him in NXT, so it wasn't really surprising to see him when he debuted.

Zayn was more unexpected, but they were in Montreal.

There was no reason to think that Owens would have come out last night.

Owens can pull off a lot of different personas, not just unstoppable monster. But two problems exist. One is his look, especially in a Vince run company. The other is that he is better cast as some kind of heel in WWE (I don't see a lot of causal fan kids or old people or women digging him as a face), but the smarks are going to cheer him. So he might get the "don't do anything interesting because you are being cheered" treatment.

owens' look is a problem in any non-indy/smark company much less the wwe

I mean, you really really are gonna have a tough time making Owens look the unstoppable guy in a feud with the Cenas and the Reigns of the world.

Its impossible to make him look like a credible threat to Lesnar.

Yet this is everybody's dream match. Of course this was all because of the first match with Zayn. I even saw similarities but then quickly dismissed it since he's 5'11" and not even in the same universe in terms of beasting as Brock ****ing Lesnar.

I'm a big fan of KO but agree that he didn't look great standing next to Cena. His gut has gotten huge in the last month and he isn't a solid fat guy like Joe or Vader for example, he's just fat. The bike pants look pretty silly as well.

I'm sure a lot of people who didn't know who he was had the "wtf is this fat slob in bike pants and why is he a champion" reaction that Cornette predicted. Obviously he is a beast in the ring but he looks even less credible than small guys like Neville and Bryan etc.

The good news for KO is that a lot of younger fans seem to care very little about look or credibility. I've seen a lot of people calling for Sandow to be world champ when 90% of the roster probably is more athletic or tougher than he is. And, as ISO said, a lot want to see Owens against Lesnar. They just want to be entertained, and largely never have seen a wrestling product that gave two ****s about making it seem realistic.

Meltzer said that years ago he would always get questions how good various wrestlers would be in a shoot fight like "Who would win in a real fight, Flair or Hogan?" and that he basically never gets those anymore.

Probably a TV definition of returns rather than a wrestling one, where somebody can 'return' every week.

Honestly wouldn't be surprised me if The Shield music popped on RAW and the three of them walked out together without any explanation.
