Eh, IDK.

Jinder Mahal was WWE champion.

"Moon-push this guy with a strong wrestling bloodline" also isn't really much of an example of displaying a uniquely good eye. The fact that he stuck with it while trying his best to bungle it can just as easily be attributed to going on tilt and wanting to stick it to his own complaining fans as much as it can be attributed to having a good eye.

Vince deserves very, very little credit for the Reigns thing finally panning out.

Possibly unpopular take: many people could've been pushed like Roman for this long and reached where he's reached and farther. This was just an exercise in brand building over many years and finally finding something that makes him "popular".

I don't know about unpopular, but I completely agree. There is a significant segment of the wrestling fan base who will cheer for anyone booked as unbeatable. It feels good when the wrestler you root for wins, so a lot of people will root for the wrestler everyone knows is probably going to win almost every time.

The true greats are the people who can get fans to root for them even when it appears the bookers are never going to let him win.

Are you talking about Koko B. Ware?

RAW has been pretty good the last few weeks - liking how several people have multiple active feuds going on (especially Big E vs Alpha Academy, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Austin Theory)

I used to be a big fan of Sanity at NXT and a lot of that was Nicky Cross. So what do they do? Call up Sanity without Nicky and let them waste, then call her up and change her gimmick. Subtlely at first, but now she's a full blown, cringeworthy ASH-hole.

Karrio Cross was a destructive machine at NXT. His match with Legado Del Fantasma was awesome and totally got him over in my eyes. They bring him up w/o Scarlett, put him in this ridiculous outfit and then cut them both a month later saying that he failed to get over.

Hit Row was mega-over in a short time at NXT and B-Fab was a major reason why. They bring them up and immediately dump the girl again. Yet they keep the one part of that group that wasn't working. I liked AJ on the A&E treasure show. Top Dolla is so out of place and cringeworthy also in that group.

They seem to now want to mix males & females who got over in NXT once they get to the main roster. I wonder if this is the Russev/Lana effect, but at least with Brince taking over NXT now it's all gonna be awful from the start.

LOL, WWE doing a "Great Value" version promo of MJF vs CM Punk with Miz vs Edge on RAW right now, right down to the "Edge didn't mention me in his promo of people he wanted to face!"

Part of me wants to see one of these heel wedding segments go off with a hitch, and they just bask in the boos to close the show

Really doubt it's real.

I struggle to believe that even the most socially unaware person would believe that showing a girl wrestling clips would show off their "cool/knowledgeable side." EVERY wrestling fan knows that they're embracing a stigmatized form of entertainment.

The "two personal pan pizzas (on a budget!)" part also feels like a troll who showed his hand by being too ham-fisted.

Bunch of releases today, most notably William Regal.

Yeah, was just reading that. Super wack. Regal is one of the guys that should get a paycheck for life.

Vince is eager af to restructure the company in order to make it more appealing to potential buyers. He wants that Lucas/Disney deal.

How can they have an official weigh-in on RAW without Art Donovan there to speculate on how much each of them weigh!?

So said what the hell and bought a hobby box of wwe cards, pulled a numbered Roman Reigns Auto! and some thick "film strip" card of Natalya vs Charlotte which is kinda neat, supposedly the odds for that are 1:400 packs.

Going to figure out pricing and list what I can on my ebay store.

You may be better off selling on COMC (Check Out My Cards) - less selling fees than on eBay (though it does generally take longer to sell)

Thanks! May check it out, Have not done so yet but can try listing locally as well or see if I can work out a deal with the local card shop where I bought the box and have bought lots from if need be as he has a bit of wrestling stuff he sells.

I am just happy it was a big-name auto I pulled and not some crappy talent, lol. I also got a numbered Seth Rollins so interested to see what that's worth.

Use eBay sold listings or 130point to find comps. Even if you don't find the same card, you should be able to find something similar from another product or year. Facebook groups can help save on eBay fees but you can be tempting fate sometimes on getting scammed or charge backed.

COMC is a great site but I wouldn't recommend it for just a handful of cards. I find it more useful for sending in a large amount of cards that you don't want to spend time on individually pricing, listing, packaging and shipping yourself.

Thanks! Yes, I do check sold listings especially for stuff like this that has just been recently released which I will do with the base cards and other inserts that I pulled this weekend and list those as well.

Going back to the topic of the thread, holy cow the 1st hour of Raw was mostly talking segments! It's great these younger guys are getting air time but it was mostly boring, I can't imagine paying to go see Raw now, the only exception is Wrestlemania for the experience of buying tickets.

Chad Gable dropping his 4.0 GPA brag in every promo as someone in their mid-30's is like the academic cringe version of scoring 4 touchdowns for Polk High back in the day
