Welp, we've arrived at the place where a PPV Sunday came and nobody put a thread up. Think that's a first. I wasn't going to tune in, but was interested to read people's thoughts about it all the same.

Edge/Orton really has been great if you have a taste for more methodical matches (too many kickouts also, obviously, but that's just part of wrestling now). I also liked Drew/Lashley a lot until the finish.

The rest of this should be actively avoided and I think the Profits/Raiders segment might have legit killed the business.

I actually think that Profits/Raiders segment was the worst wrestling thing ever, it's actually worth a watch to wonder how that ever was an idea that got greenlit

It's up there for sure. It was sort of the natural trajectory after everyone praised the Firefly Funhouse match, MITB, and the AEW Stadium Stampede match. These companies are going to keep making increasingly hokey and dumb cinematic matches now because it's "creative" and "fun."

They said it wasn't even a match. It was really just an extended vignette. I'm curious what the Shaq sized ninja thought he was going to do with the sword though.

I assume the Raiders/Profit thing was entirely Vince laughing his ass off while writing - all it was missing was some farts and other toilet humor

I didn't watch but listened to a recap...Vince really told fans that were going to RAW "if you're going to wear a mask, don't bother showing up". Production > health.

Wonder how many corona droplets are expelled and how far with every Flair "Whooo!"

Can't believe they doubled down on the ninjas Monday.

Tonight on Raw:

Promo leading to Ziggler main eventing a PPV for the WWE championship
Promo with Big Show, Randy Orton and Ric Flair
MVP, Bobby Lashley and R Truth segment
Shelton Benjamin in a match
More MVP and Bobby Lashley
Rey Mysterio Promo

Raw isn't even over yet.

It's 2020 and not 2008 btw.

Charlotte Flair has in ring segment with Nia Jaxx.

Charlotte Flair will now miss many months.

Not that I'm saying there's any correlation of course.

Not a single thread or post about Extreme Rules, yikes

Asuka/Sasha ending was hot garbage - surprised they didn't have at least one person on commentary heel it up and try to sell it as a legit ending (picturing Bobby Heenan doing this perfectly)

Rey/Seth would have been much better if it was filmed cinematically with some ridiculous eye-popping moment. I appreciated the puking from Seth, though it was missing "HE'S GONNA PUKE! HE'S GONNA PUKE!" from Vince

More Alexa Bliss as Sister Abigail, please - otherwise, Swamp Fight was very weak (though nothing will be as bad as that House of Horrors match)

Why is MVP being a wrestler a thing in 2020

Literally nothing WWE is currently doing interests me in any way.

But I am enjoying old stuff on the award winning network.

RAW Underground, where there are no rules and anything goes.

And everyone fights unnamed jobbers.

And Shane stops every fight after 30 seconds.

And you might get to see girls dancing for 0.5 seconds at a time.

And somehow MVP And Friends declare they're in charge and Shane agrees.

But the ref still stops every fight after 30 seconds.

I'm pretty sure this was worse than anything in LOLTNA history.

so, apparently the WWE watched AEW and thought "man the dark order we should steal that".

Dunno if anyone else is following but the Smackdown main event story has been interesting. I don't know if thats good or bad, but it's interesting:

First they introduce Alexa Bliss into that swamp fight hallucination, making us think she was just portraying sister Abigail. Then we find out it was actually just Alexa Bliss as Alexa Bliss.

Then the fiend attacks her on the next SD, trying to induce a Braun reaction. Braun comes out and says 'I don't give a ****' about Alexa Bliss, do your worst.

Alexa then confronts Braun, Braun confirms he doesn't give a **** about her, and basically was about to destroy her when the fiend comes out for the save?

They are double turning Braun heel and fiend face lol.

Not sure what the **** is going on, but i'm intrigued by it I guess.

I haven't been watching but from listening to Dave and Bryan it doesn't seem like a double turn but more that for this feud, Braun has turned into The Fiend and The Fiend's Braun. I just assume at certain times.
