Did they slap a porn mustache on Roode and change his name?

Might as well just call him Rick.

I know that Cesaro was on SD last Tuesday. He teamed up with Rusev and Nakamura against New Day + Big O. He had the Sheamus music indeed.

With that mustache, might as well just rename him Rick Rude.

Even better that Rick Rude's real last name was Rood.

That felt like a swerve after they said AJ was injured. Seemed like Corbin was the perfect guy to feed Rollins for his first defense and didn't think they wanted to do AJ/Seth this soon.

I think the only reason they'd go with AJ now is that they view MitB as a big 5 ppv so they gotta deliver something at least reasonably good.

The Becky/Fox match was real bad in both layout/booking and execution. No idea why the double champ is wrestling a 10 minute match vs. a botch machine who hasn't been in the ring since she got sent home for wrestling drunk. I'm concerned about RAW's women's division.

Bray's gimmick was so out of left field and bizarre that I kind of liked it, or at least was intrigued by it. For what they were going for, it was executed really well too.

The interesting part is that they didn't attempt to introduce this guy we know as an entirely new character who we've never seen before. His past was acknowledged. We'll see where it fails...I mean goes.

I could absolutely see not liking it and not wanting stuff like this in wrestling, but it reminded me of like a Danny McBride dark comedy or some of the weird Adult Swim stuff. There is a lot of legitimate weirdness, humor and darkness in there. It's pretty far beyond what I typically think WWE is capable of.

I'm not sure if the gimmick has any kind of lifespan, or if it can translate to doing stuff live in the ring, but it definitely beats spooky Bray coming out and doing his usual schtick again.

Lacey Evans is so awesome, sucks she's just gonna be fed to Becky at MITB

I forgot SD! was a thing. Sadly going to watch solely for Kairi. Thanks for the reminder!

Roode going over Richochet was great. Although that match sorta sheds a light on the main problem WWE has right now, there's no storytelling whatsoever, every week is just people randomly fighting ftmp

Yeah, the Big E imitation gimmick wasn't really doing it for anyone. I can't even figure out if Smackdown had any top heels after the shake up.

I mean, yeah it was weird and sort of dumb, but I'd rather watch that strange and different 3 minute clip than 3 normal minutes of the regular trash that makes up Raw.

SD was great tonight. I felt like I was watching the NXT Bayley against Charlotte and Becky's characterization was back on point in her promos after a rough RAW. Kind of wish Charlotte actually would go to the back of the line but w/e, it's obviously never happening.

KO turning makes Kofi/Xavier look like total idiots, but I guess that's par for the course for a lot of wrestling storytelling.
