I came here to see the Triple Ambrose joke has already been made.

First Alicia Fox main event since her epic clash with Melina IIRC.

Zero SD posts on the go-home Summerslam show?'

People can't possibly still be pretending to be surprised by zero-post shows.

Go home shows are generally the worst. They're not concerned with doing anything interesting. They're really just bad commercials for the upcoming event that don't really accomplish what they want them to most times anyway.

That makes sense. Full disclosure-- I literally never watch the weekly shows, so I'm not entirely in the loop on how apparently they're lame. But that makes perfect sense.

I actually still keep up with it, there's 2 channels on youtube called Classy Wrestling and Wrestling Reality that upload 15-20 min condensed version of episodes mins after they air. The vids are taken down after a couple hours but it's a good way to keep up without sitting through all the trash.

There's just nothing I feel like posting about. I have the same criticisms as most people here and it just feels like I would be repeating myself. WWE just takes everything that was good or has potential and makes it lame and uninteresting. Like pretty much everything. The routine of the whole presentation just kills it all for me. AJ and Joe are wrestling for the WWE title and I don't care. Nakamura was insanely huge in NJPW but his run has been forgettable. Bobby Roode is feuding with Mojo Rawley. Daniel Bryan was the most over wrestler on the planet when he retired and a month after his return he was feuding with Big Cass. Braun sucks now. I could go on all day. Kind of hard to get invested in wrestlers when they have to play the current WWE style role.

The Roman Reigns thing is just bizarre at this point though. This push is now 3 and a half years long and is clearly not working how they intended yet they still haven't attempted any kind of character development. He's still the same character doing the same old **** he was when the whole thing started. It's especially frustrating when the majority of the time, the main program of Raw and most PPVs are centered around him. It's another 2006-2012 Cena to me.

It has to be worse to me than Cena at his most frustrating, because with Cena the push was warranted by how over and how profitable he was during that same period. While Roman is the better in-ring talent, his matches still don't outpace Cena's because the crowd atmosphere for his matches almost always sucks.

Not to mention there's more talent there now than when Cena had his reign of doom. They could easily push Rollins, Braun, and a few others as the top guy to see how it goes.

I suspect their plan is to keep Roman the same and just keep making everyone else worse and worse until eventually Roman looks good in comparison.

This is basically what they're doing regarding Brock.

Man, I can't believe how cold the secondary market is for SummerSlam right now. I wonder if WWE knows/cares about stuff like this.

I've gone the last two years and paid out my ass on StubHub. This year I bought legit tickets months ago with a presale so I wouldn't get reemed later but decided I didn't wanna go anymore because **** the WWE and their **** product.

I've had my seats listed to just break even after fees and they haven't sold yet. I may have to go out of necessity.

In my experience the rule is this - if you buy tickets early, they will be buy 1 get 3 free by the time of the show. If you wait until the show approaches, they will be 2.5x face value by the time of the show.

Roman's a man of his word. Said he was gonna beat Lesnar and he did it.

...what about the other bunch of times he didn't?

Graves goes from celebrating "Constable Corbin" being named acting GM (good heel commentator work) to praising Roman Reigns bravery and ferocity for defending the title the night after winning it (lol). They're just so clueless on every level and it can all be traced back to their desperate attempt to get Roman over.
