Funny how we both ended up on the same article.

And I wonder if Vince is going to hold that promo botch against Asuka. There's a reason she talked very little in NXT. She didn't need to.

She needs Paul Heyman. I think she also had a wardrobe malfunction.

If some recent rumors are true, Brock may very well be sticking around until the summer of 2021.

Has Coach improved since his first WWE stint or is every other analyst not named Graves just so terrible that he just sounds better by comparison?

I don't think Coach was too bad when he was last around. That said, there's a reason that most wrestling fans would give their left nut to have Tony Schiavone back calling Monday night wrestling again after the same fans treated him as a joke for years.

Schiavone was terrible near the end, but at that point nobody gave a ****. He was usually otherwise competent and having Heenan with him never hurt. Biggest problem for him was being up against JR, which is going to make anyone look bad. Which now makes me curious how a JR, Graves booth would sound.

This run of Brock's is better than his previous championship run, when he just squashed everyone. But he's still only around 6 matches a year, so keeping him around is kind of pointless.

With regards to the announcing, it almost doesn’t matter who you put in there, they are going to sound worse than they actually are because of how they are produced.

I’ve mentioned this probably every time this subject comes up, but if you want to see how Cole can sound actually calling a match, then fire up that Japanese house show WWE put live on the Network a course or years ago. That was Cole, and I think Saxton was his color man, sound without having to push endless bull**** and Vince in their ear mo to managing everything.

I think that most can acknowledge that Cole is absolutely great at doing exactly what he is deployed to do.

Unfortunately that leads to him being annoying 95% of the time.

Been reading a few people here praising 205 Live recently. I've never watched, but read last night that HHH has taken over the booking of that show the last few months. There's speculation Vince may be giving up some control, whether it's due to age or his other ventures, it would seem a positive for the product going forward since the best shows in the company are essentially booked by HHH's team right now.

To add to this, rumors are that HHH will get more control of Raw/Smackdown as the new XFL gets closer and closer to launch.

For all the praise the Gauntlet match from last night has been receiving, people quickly forget the revolutionary match from 20 years ago that paved the way for it:

I've seen nothing but praise for it here. I listened to Dave and Bryan talk about it this morning and they **** all over it. Specifically how awful Cena is now, the length of the Cena/Rollins bit, the first 20 minutes of it, and how Seth should've been booked vs. how he was.

When you consider the alternative to that match is the usual crap we get on Raw I don't know how anybody could find much problem with it. Only downside for me was it doesn't make any sense to have a variation of a big important ppv match on tv the week before, but they do that all the time anyway.

In the next few years we should see more of Vince's control relinquished to HHH due to the XFL returning in 2020.

Not a single Smackdown post. How the show has fallen? (Don't know, I didn't watch it this week).

One stat I saw concerning Lesnar. On Monday night, Rollins wrestled for 65 consecutive minutes. Lesnar has wrestled a total of 62 minutes since WM 33.

Is it's Brock's fault he's able to defeat inferior opponents so quickly?

That can't be right though:

Joe, the Four Way, Braun, AJ, Bran/Kane...those matches were more than 62 minutes total.
