Usually sports heat is super lame, but I remember reading a 90s WCW story about a house show in Nebraska, where heel Chris Jericho came out and got the crowd so riled up with his burns against the Cornhuskers that they called an audible and had heel Eddie Guerrero come out and cut a babyface promo and give Jericho his comeuppance. Eddie remained a heel on TV and the whole thing wasn't canon; they got legit worried that the crowd heat could get dangerous.

Is there some reason they couldn't have done the Braun story line over the 3 hours instead of "you're fired" in the opening segment and he's hired back within 50 minutes? The show (outside of Asuka/Nia shockingly) has been dreadfully boring.

Agreed. Would have been so much better if they dragged it out the whole show and left out the outlandish overproduced bits like last weeks grappling hook bit and the vehicle flip this week. Why redo that?

He plays the terrorizing heel well in “normal” situations. The crowd was into his manhandling of Cole. And it’s a believable scenario (as far as wrestling scenarios go). Let him keep that up and the character would be white hot.

That was some great selling from Finn at the end if he was. I do wonder if he's really ****ed from that. It seemed like there was more to be done there than that ending.

really impressive by WWE that the single worst thing on Raw right now is Matt Hardy. Within a matter of weeks they took a gimmick that could've been great and absolutely murdered it. Wonder how long until he gets zero reaction at all.

Maybe I should be blaming Matt and not WWE, can't believe he's selling out like this. What made it work the first time was his dedication to the character----sure it was a joke and we all laughed, but it was great because he took the character kayfabe seriously.

Now, he's just making a mockery out of everything, and the stupid laugh and the word delete (which doesn't even mean anything anymore) are the most important parts of the gimmick. Would love to never see his face again.

Haven’t watched Raw in months, but I’m in for tonight. Hopeful for an awesome Austin segment, and a Punk appearance, though I know that’s unlikely.

I haven't watched a lick of WWE wrestling since somewhere during the Mahal reign. I'm in tonight though with hopes of seeing some good throwback segments. My hopes are for a stunner, a "DAMN", and a Vince "WELCOME TO MONDAY NIGHT RAWWWWW" open.
