In the instance of a two out of three falls match, the selected wrestler is considered to have wrestled one match rather than a series of 3 matches. The only thing that matters here is the end result. If, on the other hand, we have a "Best of 7" series (think Booker T vs <redacted> series for the US Title), each match is viewed as a separate entity.

Cody Rhodes and Stardust are the same wrestler for the purpose of this competition. Changes in gimmicks don't override the wrestler behind it. For instance, you would not be able to take Corporate Kane one month and then The Demon Kane a few months later.
