Yeah, even my wife was really taken in by this. Really incredible.

Yeah that was a good watch.

Flairs emotions were real and it really came across. As stated above, the scene where they show Flair hugging his family and ringside and he mentions that one of them isnt here anymore it really strikes a nerve.

Best ECW PPV or, related, best Tajiri match?
**WWE NETWORK THREAD** Quote

Yeah, solid Legends episode. I didn't actually know what the state of Foley's and Flair's relationship was these days but it does seem to be genuinely cordial at least. I would think that JBL would tiptoe around bringing up their legit heat from years past if it wasn't.

Best Tajiri ppv match in ECW is probably from Anarchy Rulz 1999. Tajiri vs Little Guido vs Super Crazy. Best ECW ppv without a doubt is Anarchy Rulz 1999.

Was watching a countdown episode and they showed the Rockers break up. Heenen is the goat.

"See one without the other isn't any good. Oh I knew he was going to do that"

"Jannetty tried to jump through the window to escape, what an act of cowardism."

Heenans ability to take any random thing and turn it into "face does something stupid/cowardly or heel does something inteligent/heroic" is outstanding.

"Look at Dibiase, so generously offering his money and this stupid kid can't dribble a basketball 5 times"

Was watching Bret/Perfect SummerSlam '91 yesterday and Heenan's sniping back and forth with Piper during that match is outstanding. If the match wasn't already awesome enough on its own merits (it is), there's also commentary underneath it that's guaranteed to make you laugh.

the fact that heenan can no longer speak while lawler is still on commentary is proof there is no god

I'm actually watching the whole PPV from the beginning, even a garbage 6 man match with Paul Roma, just for the commentary.

lay off lawler. easy to run out of things to say when you're calling the same thing over and over for 20 years.

i just started the flair, foley and jbl round table.

Lawler was on with Renee Young last night promoting WM. Lawler says "The only way I could like you any more is if you were dipped in chocolate." She promptly no-sold the remark.

I didn't think that opening 6-man was too bad really. Frequent tags, good crowd, sweet and to the point.

This defense would work better if he hadn't descended into pure AIDS in about year five.

Heenan to Piper: "I heard your parents ran away from home when you were a kid."

And yes, the 6 man turned out better than expected.

He had entered well into "creepy old man squealing 'puppies!'" by that point. Though admittedly he's a fair bit worse today.

Early to mid-90's he was quite good though.

That line from Heenan (and Monsoon's exasperated reaction) had me laughing the hardest.

I've said this at least twice on this board. My favorite match commentary right there. Rumble 92 would be my 2nd.

I didn't ever see Mr. Perfect tap to Bret's sharpshooter. NYC Screwjob imo.
